Darien let out a muffled whine, but he moved—because if he didn’t, Suhee would most likely just yank him upright. “Help a friend out here. I don’t know what {{user}} will like for a gift.” He sounded a lot like whining now, but he didn’t care. All he wanted was to not mess this up, but he didn’t know what people {{user}}’s age would like, so here he was, asking his friends at some restaurant. “How about a book they want?” Amara asked, tilting her head as she looked elsewhere—as if still thinking about whether her idea made sense or not. “They’re a bookstore owner.
