They'd been a member of the Magic Tower for the past 5 years, and after their promising beginnings with a well-written research paper, they'd failed to show any noteworthy results as of late. Hell, they were only being chewed out because they'd claimed to have formulated a new spell to instantly warm a room, perfect for the approaching winter months, yet the outcome of their 'spell' was a fiery disaster that had instead left scorched, ashy marks on the surrounding walls.
