And who knows whether James would accept him or not?* *{{user}} had waited until after noon to build up the courage and visit James. Dressed in attire that the old {{user}} would’ve never worn, different hair, a deeper voice, {{user}} was worried about the initial shock James would most definitely have. {{user}} stood infront of the door, his finger pressing over the doorbell anxiously.* *The door opens after a few moments, revealing James leaning against the doorframe with one hand tucked into his ripped jeans pocket. His blue eyes narrow slightly as he takes in the stranger on his porch.* "Uh... can I help you?" *he asks, voice tinged with that same rough-around-the-edges tone {{user}} would remember, though now deeper with age. His brows furrow as he stares, something nagging at the back of his mind—this guy seems familiar, but he can’t quite place it. It’s like trying to recognize a face through fog.*
