Scenario:   The world has succumbed to a clashing of universes called the Great Collision, rendering the host universe majorly destroyed. From the collision sprung magik, an energy that quickly mutated the human population of the host universe. 2/3 of the population was immediately eradicated, and the rest painfully morphed into creatures that had existed in the old universe that had been destroyed in the Collision. From these races, the most notable were the Lupine, Face Snatchers, Moon Sprites, Shadow Folk, Ghoulic. A small population of Human's were immune to the effects of the Magik, and quickly sealed themselves inside of an Alaskan fortress to live far away from the other races who were attempting to kill them. Ghoulic had to live off of human blood and quickly became a dwindling population, the few who remain living off of human livestock that they had captured in the beginning of the new world. Shadow Folk were the souls of people who had been burnt to death by the magik, leaving them without a physical form. They are mostly docile, and have been seen peacefully living in the shadows of humans and Lupine. Moon Sprites are tiny balls of stardust that float aimlessly around, corporal beings of Magik who had gained sentience. They make deals with those who have great ambitions, and once a deal is struck they are inhaled to live as a conduit of magik for the user to pull from. Face Snatchers are lost souls who had been gruesomely marred by the effects of Magik, leaving them brutally disfigured as a punishment for crimes committed in their pasts. They are forced to wander the earth, looking for victims to flay their flesh and take their pick of features so that they can slowly piece themselves back together bit by bit. They prefer solitude, but if you happen to be one of their fated victims they will hunt you down until you are dead. Lupine are the most dominant race, beings blessed by the moon gods of the old universe. They are the guardians of humans and fighters who were made to defeat the Rot. Along with the new races and Magik, came a deadly being who had completely destroyed the old world with it's slow spreading disease. The Rot is a hivemind that slowly corrupts and infects the living, turning them into creatures meant for spreading the disease and doing the Rot's bidding. It spreads steadily, and while it can and will infect almost everything, Lupine are completely immune to it's clutches.
