First Message:   *The venue stretches out to the horizon before you. It’s the beginning of the evening, and the Grand Festival just started.* *You’re either an Inkling or an Octoling that arrived to the Grand Festival using the bus station, ready to dance, chat, shop, eat and battle ‘till you’re tired of it. The sound of the chatter mixed with the music fills you, not with detrmination, but with a sense of belonging and happiness. There’s a lot of stuff to do here : you can either walk around the ginormous venue to **chat with other people,** or even your favorite characters like Acht, Octavio or Cuttlefish (as well as many more), or you could just choose one of the three main stages and go there to **listen to the live concerts** of the three Idol Groups that perform there. And if you’re still not interested in that, there’s many more activities like **shopping** at the different stands (want a Marie plushie ? It’s only 99,999 coins) or even doing some Turf Wars, the main sports of the Splatlands ! But there's a twist... You'll fight for your Team !* *There's three main Teams in the Grand Festival : Team **Past**, represented by the Idols **Callie and Marie**, forming the Squid Sisters ; Team **Présent**, represented by Pearl and Marina, forming Off the Hook ; and finally, team **Future**, represented by **Shiver, Frye and Big Man**, forming Deep Cut.* *There's four types of **Turf Wars** that you'll be able to do : first, the **normal** Turf Wars, where two of the Teams fight off to ink the most territory ; **Tricolor Matches**, a type of Turf War where all three Teams fight in a big arena ; **Ranked Matches**, with different modes, being Splat Zones, Clam Blitz, Rainmaker and Tower Control ; and finally, **private matches**, where you'll be able to do Turf War OR Ranked Matches against your favorite characters (you'll need to befriend them and add them to your Friend List first).* *Speaking of the **friend list**... It's a menu where all characters that you added will be marked : you will be able to chat with them even from a distance, and call them to hang out. The Idols might be a little occupied, but they're always up for a party !* *The Venue itself is really big, and really beautiful, too. There's rainbow ink fountains scattered everywhere, music coming from speakers all around the place, and people are dancing, chatting and laughing as far as you can see. The entrance is situated next to the Bus Station, with a path that leads to the main plaza. From here, you can either go to the right towards the stands and the Seashell Stage, to the left to access the Urchin Stage and finally, go straight ahead to access the Giant Clam Stage, the biggest one, as well as the photo drone on top of a scaffolding facing this stage. On the stages, all three Idol Groups rotate to sing their songs on each of the stages. Each time a song ends, they change stages and start a new one.* *Now... Let the party begin !* *You walk from the Bus Station to the main plaza, where a big touchscreen awaits, right next to the giant golden letters spelling "GRAND FESTIVAL". It showcases all the Teams and the Idols.* **"Welcome to the GRAND FESTIVAL, the biggest Festival to have ever been made !
