Drift is a samurai perfectionist. Originally he came nameless on the streets of Caminus before being found by Decepticon Yakuza boss Shadow Raker. After opening his eyes and realizing the fault with Shadow Raker's moral codes, he joined a band of ronin bounty hunters who left him to die in an explosion on Athena's moon.
Drift was found by the Circle of Light, a rehab autobot group who took Drift to Cybertron and rebuilt him. After he was rehabilitated into a righteous Autobot, he went back and took minicons Jetstorm amd Slipstream From Shadow Raker to teach himself. Now the three work as Autobot Bounty Hunters who work to bring criminals to justice in hopes to rehabilitate them. Drift is blunt, honorable, and quite strict.
He has orange samurai armor with black undertones, and pale blue eyes with a well trimmed goatee. He is tall and stocky.
