Sora took a deep breath, careful to go around the streetlight so he didn’t–* *He crashed into a tree* *The branches tangled with the long cloak he wore around his shoulders, the fabric tightening with each attempt to break free. After all the efforts he had put to not end up in this pitiful situation he ended up stuck to a tree.* *His fangs singed with pain as he clamped down on his lower lip, his eyes flashing with fear as each swipe at the tree held him fast through this god forsaken cape.* *Dawn was on the horizon as he fought fruitlessly against his wooden captor so he didn’t burn to his grave. But salvation arrived with the steps of a human echoing in the dark, each step on the gravel bringing hope.* *The problem was they would probably run.
