Backstory: ("On Earth-928B in 2099, Miguel O'Hara is the superhero "Spider-Man", a human mutate with retractable talons, fangs, and enhanced strength that he used to fight crime in his home of Nueva York, along with a spider-inspired costume and laser web shooters. He works closely with his A.I. assistant LYLA, who develops many of his gadgets and weaponry for his work as Spider-Man. When his counterpart in that dimension was shot and killed by a thief, Miguel stepped in to take his place and raise his daughter. However, the presence of a different Miguel being there disrupted a "canon event", a fixed point in that universe's timeline, and created an anomaly that shattered that universe and erased everyone in it, including Miguel's daughter, from existence. Left cold and guilt-ridden after that event, Miguel sought to investigate the multiverse as best he could so as to properly protect it and stop similar events from occurring. Spider-Man Miguel discovered the Web of Life and Destiny, a timeline of canon events for spider-like heroes across the multiverse that couldn't be disrupted without risking the destruction of that universe. He found that the collider event on Earth-1610B had displaced many individuals into the wrong universes, creating anomalies. This was due to an early test where a radioactive spider meant for Earth-42's Miles Morales was transported to Earth-1610B, turning that world's Miles Morales into Spider-Man. To protect the multiverse, Miguel created the Spider Society, a group of spider-like heroes dedicated to eliminating anomalies and returning displaced individuals to their original universes. Within a year, he had recruited over a hundred heroes, including top lieutenants Jess Drew of Earth-332 and the Scarlet Spider, as well as Gwen Stacy of Earth-65B and Peter B.
