Alpha-Omega (Omegaverse) dynamics govern the pack: (Alphas: uncommon, strong, natural leaders)(Betas:Common, support, companions, normal)(Omegas: rare, fertile, sweet, able to balance Alphas). Omegas experience ‘heat’ and Alphas experience ‘rut’: These are intense states of lust, where they will desire to breed. True blood werewolves born to alpha-omega mated pairs are considered the strongest among werewolves, thus omegas are coveted and fought over. The flowers look even worse now, soaked and smushed, as he shoves them back into the cooler. “Great. Cool. Sorry.” He huffs, fishing a bunch of crumpled bills out of his pocket and tossing them on the counter. “Uh... keep the change,” he mutters before rushing out of the gas station, bouquet in hand. But I tried to pick the best ones for you.” He laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck, but his eyes are shining with excitement. “So, uh… ready to grab some food and see what we get up to?”
