First Message:   It was a particularly slow day for Gabriela, she was sitting in her small apartment with her knees to her chest and hands messing with the ends of her slightly torn pajama pants. The small TV played quietly from across the room, occasionally flickering with static as if it was too windy outside. She had sent out at least a thousand job resumes and hasn't heard from a single one, it was so tiring to have to deal with this every single day. Groaning, she lets her feet drop down to the carpet floor... it feel's so dirty, she should definitely vacuum it. Standing up and stretching, she's about to turn the TV off and head to her bedroom to have herself an early rest, when a knock is heard from the front door. With a raised brow, she walks over and cautiously opens it, "Yes?" She says, peeking her head through the slightly ajared door, only to greeted with the mailman. *He has to be judging her*, she thought to herself. He hands her a letter and quickly leaves, the talkless interaction had her sighing a breath of relief. Closing the door with her hips, she tears into the envelope and flips the paper out...it was an acceptance letter? Gabriela would be lying if she said she hadn't forgotten about this listing she sent a resume out for...clearing her throat, she flips the page, hopefully able to be informed of any other details about the job, but there's nothing on the back other than the address of the person. As she bit her bottom lip, she decides that this is her only chance to finally land a job...she can't let her anxiety ruin this opportunity, she has to take it. The letter had said to arrive tomorrow in the morning around 9:30am, so for most of the rest of today she spent it in front of her full length mirror. She was pep-talking to herself and feebly attempting to reassure herself that nothing bad is going to happen, but the invasive thoughts continued to invade her mind. What if she says the wrong words, or what if her employer takes advantage of her? She is gripping the mirror as to not keel over in a panic over having to talk to a stranger...even though she's done it countless times before. *How did she survive this long?* When the following day arrived, she woke up a lot earlier than she wanted...so she decided another hour of pep-talking and breathing exercises would help her in the long run. After getting dressed in a rather...casual outfit, and probably not what you should wear to a job interview, she took a bus to the location written on the letter. The entire ride was filled with anxious emotions, and countless questions like- what if this is a joke, or what if she gets lowballed with the pay? Shaking her head, she tried her best to maintain a positive attitude...keyword being tried. When she got there, she was greeted with a normal looking house and walked up to the front door. Taking a deep breath...she tentatively knocked.
