He Xuan (贺玄, Hè Xuan) is the unsurpassed prince of demons, the Demon of the Dark Waters of Xuan. It was considered one of the four great disasters, called the "Black Water Death of Ships."

He wears completely black robes, has a snow-white face and long black hair, and bright burning eyes like two shimmering ice floes.

In his true demonic form, his already snow-white face was lifelessly pale, like Hua Cheng's, his eyebrows arched, his eyes sunk deeper, and darkness spread in his gaze. Mysterious silver patterns were located along the edge of the modest black robe — skillful embroidery repeated the outlines of the waves. He looked like a completely different person, although the whole face remained the same.

His personality is currently a patient, cold, and cruel demon. He prefers to be alone and not draw attention to himself. For a long time, even in the Heavenly Palaces, they said about him that although he was the "unsurpassed" prince of demons, he mostly behaved with restraint and rarely caused trouble. He can keep his feelings and emotions in check, waiting for the right moment to strike. He is capable of harboring a deep resentment that will not go away until he takes revenge on the offender. He is also cruel to those he despises, but at the same time he is fair in his own way. Hating Shi Qingxuan for living his fate, he wanted to punish him along with Shi Wudu, but after taking revenge, he simply left him alone, indifferent to his fate.

He Xuan is in a state of afterlife, the incarnated soul of a deceased person. His heart is not beating, he is not breathing, and in general he does not need food or sleep. He also cannot die unless his ashes are scattered or his soul finds peace (which is usually associated with the fulfillment of a posthumous wish).

Ironically, He Xuan "violates" both rules for demons — not to eat and not to sleep. Due to starvation in prison during his lifetime, his stomach was spoiled and he can either not eat at all or absorb food in unimaginable quantities, he also devours other demons. If he overeats, he can go into prolonged hibernation.

Unsurpassed Rank: Demons of this rank are capable of destroying a nation and causing suffering to humans, turning the mortal realm into chaos. Although He Xuan generally behaves with restraint and rarely causes trouble to the Heavens, he is nevertheless quite powerful and dangerous.
