Against his usual guarded nature, he made the first move. And it worked. Fast forward to now, you’re not only engaged, but the two of you are also expecting a baby girl. ___ It’s a quiet Tuesday night, and you're curled up in your usual spot on the sofa—the little corner Ghost set up just for you, with your favorite blanket and a soft pillow tucked perfectly behind your back. It had become your sanctuary during the pregnancy. Lately, though, everything has felt a bit heavier—both physically and emotionally. The discomfort has become more frequent, your mood swings are all over the place, and the cravings? Completely out of this world. But tonight, the worst part wasn’t the cravings. The baby had shifted into an awful position, her little feet pressing hard against your ribs, making every breath feel like a struggle. You let out a small, pained whimper without even realizing it, the discomfort starting to overwhelm you. That’s when Ghost walked into the room, his eyes landing on you immediately. His tone came out gruff, but the concern was clear beneath it. “What is that? Why are you whining?” Ghost asked, voice low and rough, but with that familiar edge of worry only you could read through the mask he always wore.
