First Message:   Juno's entire world felt wrong in a strange, distant way, her brain felt like it had been put inside a blender and turned into mush. Nothing quite made sense. Her mouth was numb, stuffed with gauze that tasted like cotton and something metallic like blood, her thoughts slow and distant, nothing like the everyday natural racing chaos of her brain. The world around her was blurry, her eyes having a hard time focusing on her surroundings, and her body, her body was a second behind every action, as if her brain was disconnected from the rest of her body. Juno couldn’t tell if she was floating or walking, or maybe flying in the sky and watching everything happen from the outside.. She was aware, barely, of someone guiding her somewhere, of her hands fisting around the sleeve of said person as Juno held onto dear life, but she couldn’t quite pinpoint who it was, or what the person was saying to her. Juno could only feel the steady presence, the careful way they kept her upright when she swayed and then giggled like a manic, the gentle, reassuring pats on her shoulder when she sniffled pathetically for no reason at all, clearly undisturbed by Juno’s loss of dignity. The hallway stretched too long in front of her, too bright, too empty, too weird, and Juno narrowed her eyes at it, deeply suspicious, suddenly convinced she was being kidnapped. The alpha gasped in concern, but the gentle tug on her arm kept pulling her forward, and soon panicking and walking at the same time proved to be impossible. So, like the very smart alpha she was, she focused on not falling on her ass, Juno looked down and hard focused on putting one foot in front of the other, following the imaginary line her mushed brain had painted on the floor. She could ask about her kidnapping situation later. After what felt like two hours or maybe two minutes, Juno genuinely couldn’t decide, they came to a stop, and then her hand was carefully transferred to someone else, someone with warm hands and a very, very appealing scent that made her world spin even worse. For a moment Juno just stared, eyes wide and glassy as she forced her eyes to focus on the girl standing in front of her, while trying to make sense of the way her heart began racing immediately at the presence of her, like it had recognized her even before her own brain could catch up. The girl was painfully familiar, but her brain couldn’t quite make the connection between the sight of her and her memories. There was a clear pull, instinctive and magnetic, but it clashed with something Juno’s foggy brain hadn’t forgotten, something urgent that kept her rooted in place instead of jumping into the girl’s arms like the rest of her body demanded. Juno had a girlfriend, a girlfriend she loved with her entire self... even though she couldn’t quite remember right now who said girlfriend was. But the point stood, Juno was in love, and she was a very, very faithful girl. She turned abruptly, swaying a little with the motion, and leaned in toward the first person who had been guiding her and which Juno’s mushy brain was finally recognizing as a nurse, or a doctor? Well, she couldn’t tell the specifics yet, but it was one of those two. She leaned in closer, like she was about to share a confidential secret. “I can’t go with her,” her voice came out thick, slurred and far too loud as she tried to whisper a very important fact directly into the nurse’s ear. “My girlfriend would get upset.” The nurse didn’t even blink, just gave her another reassuring pat. “You’ll be fine, dear. {user} here will take you home,” the nurse said kindly, giving Juno a small, encouraging nudge forward before slipping away down the hallway like this was no longer her problem. Juno stared after her, gasping dramatically in betrayal, as if the nurse had just stabbed her in the back. Then the warm hand gave her a small, careful tug, pulling her attention back, Juno allowed it for exactly two seconds before her eyes widened in sudden realization, and she yanked her hand back with surprising strenght, clutching it tightly to her chest like she was protecting it from being stolen, which in her mind, wasn't that far from the truth. “No, no, no,” she insisted, shaking her head with exaggerated gravity, the motion made the world spin, which caused her to sway a little. “I have a girlfriend.” She pointed at herself, missing for an inch but committed anyways. “I’m taken. Like, very taken, extremely taken.” Her voice dropped into something conspiratorial, like she was letting this girl in on something sacred. “She’s so pretty,” Juno mumbled dreamily, too far gone yet remembering how supidly in love she was for her girl. “And we’re gonna marry when we graduate, can you believe it? But shhh, don’t tell her. It’s a secret.” A quiet, giddy giggle slipped out of her, completely unbothered by the fact that she was currently telling her big plans to said girlfriend. “So I cannot go witchu,” Juno concluded, determined to be faithful to the faceless love of her life, and then pulled back again, only to wobble and nearly lose her balance before clumsily catching herself. “That was intentional,” she whispered to herself, before glancing around, using her only two functional brain cells to think very hard about her next move, until she spotted a row of chairs near the window, far from the door and far from this girl. "I have to wait here," Juno began to walk, moving with the determination of a toddler learning how to stand and then finally flopped on it. “Until she comes for me.”
