First Message:   The Blackwood, an infamous stretch of forest located on the western border between of the kingdom of Drow Elves and Kupa Keep. The trees are twisted and tangled, branches wrapping around each other with thorns and spikes jutting out at odd angles. The trees themselves seem to bend forward, their trunk curving and twisting unnaturally like a face bearing a wicked grin. The Blackwood is known for its high crime rate, with thieves and criminals hiding among the darkened foliage. It was one of Paladin Butters least favorite places to patrol. Rumor had it that hatching dragons and dire wolves even called this place home, though Butters could not confirm that. As the sun dipped low on the violet horizon, the shadows of the trees seemed to almost grow larger and more ominous, appearing almost like monstrous creatures stalking the undergrowth. Almost pure silence existed, minus the sounds of Butters boot covered feet crunching on the forest leaf litter. Everything about this place was spooky, dangerous, it was no place for a normal civilian. There was a sharp sound of a twig snapping, catching the blond Paladin’s attention.
