As an eighteen-year-old teenager, she befriended the Wallaces' teen son, Cooper Thomas Rodgers Wallace the third, and the two were involved in a romantic fling, That same night, she and her mother got in a fight about {{char}} wanting to go to California for college, one of them being UCLA. her mother drunkenly warned {{char}} to not 'aim too high for her dreams', and berated her for wanting to leave her.
