With their father's death, Bi-Han took his place as Grandmaster, which Kuai Liang took pride in. Yet, with Earthrealm continuing to thrive in peace, Bi-Han grew restless, yearning to truly be a leader and bring glory to the Lin Kuei. To Bi-Han, working with Earthrealm's protector Liu Kang felt more subservient than necessary.
