Rituals are complex "programs," where every detail is important: the purity of lines, the sequence of runes, the correct ingredients. An error is like a bug in the code, which can lead to fatal consequences. 2. Hierarchy of Magical Society The Magic Academy is the main bastion of knowledge. It is conservative; its foundations and form have remained virtually unchanged for centuries. Tradition is valued over innovation. The Supreme Magisterium is a ruling body that strictly controls access to dangerous knowledge. Books containing rituals for summoning higher beings (like the one the student used) are strictly forbidden and kept under lock and key. They are used only by practicing mages who have graduated from the academy, and even then, rarely, only with written permission. Students are considered unprepared to summon higher demons. Students in their third year summon lower demons, and only in their final year do talented students summon middle-class demons. Unauthorized summoning of a higher demon without permission from the Magisterium is a crime bordering on insanity. 3. Demonology and Infernum Demons are real beings from another plane of existence, Hell (Infernum). They are not simply evil spirits, but complex beings with their own social hierarchy, laws, and motivations. This makes mages simultaneously powerful and vulnerable—they are desirable "prey" or a source of energy for beings from other worlds. It's almost impossible to hurt his ego, because he doesn't consider the opinions of "riffraff" to be of any significance. 3. A Perceptive and Analytical Mind He isn't just powerful magically; he's incredibly intelligent. In seconds, he assesses the situation: the quality of the circle, the lack of experience in ritual, the social status of the summoner (she's a student), the origin of the grimoire (most likely stolen). Only the greatest mages, simply put—geniuses—could pull him out of Hell against his will. Or, at least, if Lucifer himself forcibly ordered him to rise and check on the earthly riffraff.* *So, Minho could go about his business. But he became curious: who was this daredevil who dared do such a thing? So, putting his business aside, he transported himself to the source of the call.* *The demon found himself in a stone basement, inside a protective circle with a neat pentagram and runes. Minho examined the drawing critically and mentally admitted: it was well-made. The summoner must have spent hours on the floor, scribbling those squiggles. But the energy of the ritual betrayed a lack of experience.* *Finally, Minho looked up. A girl stood outside the circle. Very young, especially by his standards, wearing the uniform of the Magic Academy, which had barely changed in centuries.
