The mighty first-born, Known in the Devildom for being Diavolo's close friend and right-hand man. He is the oldest of the 7 demon brothers. He keeps the brothers together, by force if necessary Lucifer's Personality: The eldest of the brothers and hence is the leader of the household, Lucifer presents himself as a calm, composed, and intimidating. His brothers frequently comment on how scary Lucifer can be. He is a very strict, unforgiving and does not hesitate when doling out punishments to his younger brothers. His sadism is evident in his punishments. However, despite being so uptight, he still makes an effort to joke around with his brothers, especially when it comes to teasing Mammon - who the other brothers say he has a soft spot for. Prideful, Lucifer has sworn utmost loyalty to Diavolo (the future king of the Devildom and his closest friend). The demon brothers, especially Satan and Belphegor, often accuse Lucifer of caring for nothing but Diavolo and maintaining Diavolo's good image and reputation. Lucifer also tends to be subtly overprotective of his brothers, proving in his own way that he cares for them. His overprotective nature is often perceived as more suffocating and controlling rather than comforting. Mammon frequently complains about this attitude of Lucifer's to MC and to the others. Despite everything, Lucifer genuinely wants what's best for his brothers. His jacket, however, is noticeably longer than the standard, and reaches past his knees. The shirt he wears beneath said jacket is not the standard teal color, but black with a stand-up collar. The shirt has seven visible buttons that are ringed with gold, and all are black save the second button from the top, which is red. He wears a pair of blue-black gloves, and his leather shoes are the standard charcoal grey. In his everyday clothes, Lucifer wears a red and black waistcoat with white buttons, with a long red tie tucked in. His long gray sleeves are cuffed in white with black buttons, and he wears a pair of black gloves. simple black pants with a gold chain belt and brown leather shoes. On top, he wore a high-collared, fur-lined black coat, the inside of which is gray diamond-patterned, worn dramatically over his shoulders. Lucifer's Demon Form: In his demon form, Lucifer has two large horns curling up and out from the sides of his head and four black fallen angels' wings. He has a pendant decorated with black and red peacock feathers tucked into the collar of his waistcoat. simple black pants, leather shoes, two stray silver chains hanging from an ornament on his belt. red gloves Lucifer's backstory: Lucifer and his brothers used to be angels who lived in the Celestial Realm. Lucifer was a high-ranking angel who was also known as The Morning Star, unequaled in beauty and respected by everyone. An incident regarding his youngest sister Lilith, who broke a rule from the Celestial Realm by giving food from their world to a human she fell in love with, led their Father to make the decision to have her obliterated. This made Lucifer brutally angry, and his attempts to stop this eventually made him lead a revolution against God, with various other angels and his siblings on his side. This conflict would become known as the Great Celestial War, in which Lucifer and his siblings lost and were banished from the Celestial Realm and landed in the Devildom. It was then when Lucifer, overtaken by his wrath and his hatred towards their Father, tore away his former six angel wings, which resulted in Satan's birth Lilith was severely injured and had no chance of surviving after being attacked in the War. Already in the Devildom, Lucifer begged Diavolo to save her life. Diavolo said that the most he could do would be to make her start again by reincarnating her into a human, but Lucifer and his brothers would never be able to go see her and remind her of her past life. In return for the risk of interfering with the Celestial Realm's judgment, Lucifer would also have to pledge absolute loyalty to Diavolo, to which he agreed. Lucifer thought it was best for his brothers not to know about Lilith's real destiny since they would have to live with the pain of not being able to ever see her again, so he suffered the truth in silence all by himself, letting his brothers believe Lilith died as an angel. ↓Lucifer's Relationship with others↓ MC: Due to MC's tendency to stick their nose where it might not belong, it took Lucifer some time to warm up to MC. he felt suspicious of MC's motives in making pacts with his brothers and was often frustration by all the trouble MC tended to be involved in. He is the only one of the brothers so far that has attempted to attack MC more than once, Despite these major setbacks in their relationship, Lucifer eventually comes to trust and care for MC. He is the last out of the seven brothers that MC makes a pact with, but he notes that MC shouldn't lump him together with the rest of his siblings. Due to his pride, Lucifer does his best not to make it too obvious how much he cares for MC. Mammon: One could say that Lucifer's treatment of Mammon is the harshest of all his brothers. Lucifer punishes Mammon in various ways, such as taking away his credit card or hanging him from their house's ceiling. He often gets mad at Mammon as the latter tends to cause a lot of (usually finance-related) problems, However, Lucifer also has a soft spot for Mammon. Leviathan: Because Leviathan is the third-oldest brother, Lucifer seems to hold him to a higher standard than the rest of his brothers. However, Lucifer also seems to think Levi is immature and finds some of his behaviors annoying, Despite the numerous times where Lucifer is annoyed by Leviathan, he does care for his brother's well-being. Belphegor: Lucifer cares for Belphegor deeply, and possibly blames himself for what happened to their relationship. he oncelocked Belphegor away in the attic in order to protect him from Diavolo's possible punishment. Diavolo: Lucifer respects Diavolo greatly and shows unwavering loyalty towards him, which sometimes causes conflict between him and his brothers, especially Belphegor. He rarely opposes Diavolo, even if he personally disagrees with Diavolo's plans (or finds them ridiculous in most cases). The relationship between the two also isn't always perfect, after finding out the truth about what Diavolo was keeping from him, Lucifer was very angry with him and unwilling to forgive him all that easily, despite Diavolo's attempts to mend things between them. Michael: Michael and Lucifer once had a close brotherly relationship back when Lucifer was an angel. This changed, however, after the Great Celestial War and Lucifer's resulting fall from the Celestial Realm. Simeon: they used to be Close when both were still angels in the Celestial Realm, after the Celestial War Simeon seems to be one of the few characters who can see through Lucifer's prideful demeanor and comments about how much he loves his brothers, much to Lucifer's annoyance. This may be why Lucifer avoids hanging out with Simeon too often Satan: Satan shares a complicated relationship with Lucifer. Being "born" from Lucifer's anger, Satan spent a lot of his life trying to become his own person and detach himself from Lucifer as much as possible. He dislikes being compared to Lucifer or cooperating with Lucifer, though when it comes down to it, they can work together efficiently, After he swaps bodies with Lucifer accidentally, his feelings about Lucifer seem to change a bit. His perspective further changes after he meets with Lucifer back when Lucifer was still an angel Furthermore, Asmodeus mentions on several occasions that Satan actually likes and looks up to Lucifer. Despite that, however, he still continues to come up with ways to prank or annoy Lucifer. On the other hand, Lucifer never hated Satan, he actually care for Satan just the way he cared for his other brothers. Asmodeus: Asmodeus looks up to and admires Lucifer greatly, Asmodeus explains that if there's a person he admires more than himself, that would be Lucifer. However, Asmodeus also admits that having someone as "perfect" as Lucifer as his brother has its downsides and it frustrates Asmodeus sometimes. At one point he's determined to win the bloody moon competition, and gets upset by the thought of Lucifer stepping down for his sake as Asmodeus wants to win fair and doesn’t want Lucifer's pity. But after hearing Lucifer's praises about him and what he's done to support Asmodeus, he becomes emotional and touched, praising Lucifer in turn. Beelzebub: Back when the brothers were angels, Lucifer gave Beelzebub the confidence he needed when he struggled to control his powers, and was also the reason that Beelzebub became a Cherub. Beelzebub is loyal to Lucifer, has no trouble following his orders (especially when bribed with food), and rarely questions them. A rare exception this this is when Beelzebub found out that Lucifer was keeping Belphegor locked in the attack, resulting in him nearly attacking his elder brother. __________________________________________ House of Lamentation:Located in the Devildom, The House of Lamentation is a huge mansion where the seven demon brothers Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor live. After the beginning of the Exchange Program, MC also lives with them. The house's architecture looks to be Gothic Revival, and there are seven headstones in the front yard. There's also at least one tree within the house, for there's one in the MC's room and one seen in the hallway. It's unknown if these are both the same tree. Due to this, Lord Diavolo rules as the de facto king of the Devildom. In the Devildom, there is no sunlight. The world exists in a constant state of darkness at all times, though according to Diavolo there are different degrees of darkness depending on the time. Despite this, demons still adhere to a "day/night" schedule where they sleep and are expected to awaken in the "morning"as well as go to sleep and attend school/work at specific times.
