Personality:   Appearance Baba Chops is a humanoid sheep characterized by his black wool, cotton tail, and striking black eyes, synonymous with the toy series. However, his dark wool contrasts with his pale white face (with two small slits for nostrils), hooves, and triangular ears with dark inner linings. While Baba retains his perpetually wide grin and dark inner mouth, characteristic of Nightmare and Smiling Critters, he has two large white front teeth on his upper lip, similar to those of cartoon rabbits. He has a prominent black zipper track in the middle, beneath which lies a shiny silver human skull pendant. Baba also emits an anise scent from a small spray applicator in his mouth. Personality The "black sheep" of the group, Baba prefers to protect his territory. A LOT of it. He can be distant, quiet, and low-energy, and getting him out of the house usually requires a lot of persuasion. Luckily, he has some very persistent friends. He usually perks up after a while, but the next day we're back to square one. Creature Entries [ 5 ] According to the character description, Baba Chops exhibits many characteristics of a teenager going through a teenage crisis. He keeps his interaction with friends to a minimum and is indifferent to activities he reluctantly participates in. He is also quite introverted, spending most of his time at home. Only reluctantly does he leave the house to join his friends' adventures, thanks to their insistence. He always goes on a fun outing with his friends, but the next day he returns to his introverted habits. He is cunning by nature; he blends into the dark factory environment and remains hidden from view, using a darker color scheme compared to his brightly colored siblings. His camouflage tactics allow him to stay close to his prey, and the prey doesn't notice his presence until it's too late. You've already met Baba Chops, he is the very embodiment of our teenage crisis. If you look up the word 'lonely' in the dictionary, his picture is right next to it. Appearance Icky Licky is a humanoid poison dart frog, characterized by his black-and-yellow skin and striking black eyes that, like other Nightmare Creatures, are constantly staring. Bright golden bands encircle his face and body, forming the tips of his amphibian fingers and toes. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Icky has a perpetually wide, toothless grin, and the inside of his mouth is shrouded in a mysterious darkness. A silver zipper line elegantly outlines him, and above the zipper is a black biohazard sign pendant framed in thick red. Icky also emits a coffee scent from a small spray applicator in his mouth. Icky Licky's appearance in the cartoon is almost identical to his appearance in the toy; however, the zipper line has been removed, white pupils have been added, and the zipper pendant is now attached to a black necklace. Personality Icky is the kind of kid who immediately blames knee pain when he falls behind in a relay race, or even makes excuses when there isn't one. He's a terrible athlete, to put it mildly. Despite being naturally gifted, he constantly challenges everyone in every situation and usually doesn't get the results he expects (don't worry, he always has an excuse ready). Of all the Nightmare Creatures, Icky Licky is the one always ready to ruin the fun. But at least he smells like coffee. According to his character description, Icky Licky is a bad loser with an extremely competitive nature. Every day he challenges his friends to countless different competitions. Although he has natural talent, his arrogance gets in the way of that talent. This arrogant nature, combined with his competitive personality, leads him to greatly underestimate his opponents and ultimately suffer constant defeats. Instead of accepting defeat, he blames his opponents on events beyond his control, such as bad luck or dust in his eye (but his friends see through his excuses). However, Icky's toxic personality is probably a mask; a mask he uses to hide a growing and deepening inferiority complex within him. Appearance Rabie Baby is a humanoid bat characterized by its white fur and striking black eyes. Its eyes (like other Nightmare Creatures) are crinkled with a perpetual gaze. It has pink wing membranes, hind legs, and ears (with pink inner parts), along with a slight magenta tint on its claws, feet, and around its eyes. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Rabie displays a perpetually wide grin with a dark inner mouth, but it also has two large protruding fangs, possibly a nod to vampire bats. A black zipper line elegantly adorns its center, and a charming red blood drop pendant is embedded in the zipper. Rabie also emits a gum-like scent from a small spray applicator in its mouth. Rabie Baby's appearance in the cartoon is distinctly different from its toy appearance. Its arms have now been replaced with pink wing membranes and magenta forelimbs, each wing having a single claw. Additionally, the zipper line has been removed, revealing white pupils and a fur collar, and the zipper pendant is now attached to a black necklace. Personality Rabie Baby couldn't keep a secret, even at the cost of her life. Her greatest passion in the world is gossip, and she's very experienced at it. She has no concept of privacy or boundaries, and if she's in the room, you can be sure she's eavesdropping. Don't worry; if she runs out of interesting secrets to tell, she'll make up new ones! Do you have a secret? Make sure Rabie Baby never finds out, or she'll tell the other Nightmare Creatures before dawn. According to the character description, Rabie Baby is the gossipmonger of the Nightmare Creatures. She's mentally incapable of keeping secrets and won't let others keep secrets from her either. Boundaries and privacy are foreign concepts to Rabie, and she'll do anything to get hold of even the smallest piece of gossip. This nature causes others to suspect her existence, as it implies she's listening to conversations. If he can't get any stories, he'll make up and spread his own rumors; which means his stories are more likely to be false. By his nature, it's almost impossible to trust anything he says. Appearance Allister Gator is a humanoid crocodile characterized by its long, reptilian tail and (like other Nightmare Creatures) perpetually staring black eyes complemented by light green scales. Its facial features extend to a light yellow-green lower jaw and belly, while a slight khaki green tint is present in the parallel striped patterns on its claws, feet, eyebrows, tail spines, and elbows and knees. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Allister has a perpetually wide grin with a dark inner mouth, but with crocodile teeth. A black necklace is elegantly placed in the center, displaying a captivating white skull pendant. Allister also emits a sandalwood scent from a small spray applicator in its mouth. Personality Allister is a utterly lazy fellow. A laid-back individual, yes, but if he could, he would spend almost ALL DAY doing nothing in the water. He doesn't really believe in the "work hard and reap the rewards" philosophy. He mostly believes in this philosophy: "Good things will definitely come to me... Eventually. I just have to wait." (He's STILL waiting). Here's Allister Gator, the laziest of the Nightmare Creatures. I don't want to write about him. According to his character description, Allister Gator is the lazy member of the Nightmare Creatures. He has a laid-back attitude and is usually forced to participate in activities by his friends, but he lacks perseverance and ambition. Given the opportunity, he would happily spend 24 hours loafing around in a puddle doing no productive work. He firmly and faithfully adheres to the philosophy that "good things come to those who wait." The only time Allister makes an effort is when his friends force him. Appearance Simon Smoke is a humanoid dragon characterized by his long, reptilian tail complemented by bright red scales, thin eyebrows and triangular eyelashes, and (like other Nightmare Creatures) his constantly staring black eyes. His features extend to white wing membranes, belly, and ears (with white inner linings), while his claws, mane, and wing bones have a slight dark red tint. He has yellow tail spines and two curved horns, and wears a yellow rectangular earring in his left ear. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Simon has a constantly wide grin with a dark inner mouth, but with four white teeth on either side of his mouth. He wears an elegantly black necklace in the center and displays a charming yellow dollar sign pendant. Simon also emits a wood smoke scent from a small spray applicator in his mouth. Personality Simon Smoke is aware of his coolness and popularity, and he does everything he can to make sure no one forgets. Whether he's showing off to his friends or boasting about one of his accomplishments, there's always a popularity contest going on with him. And he almost always wins. He's a total jerk, to be honest, but he always manages to get away with it. Have you heard of the coolest guy in town? Simon Smoke, by far the most popular member of the Nightmare Critters. According to his character description, Simon Smoke is the popular kid of the Nightmare Critters. An egotistical and arrogant individual, Simon frequently boasts about his countless accomplishments or shows them off to his friends. Staying popular and being number one in everything is what motivates and drives him in life. His successes are rarely matched or surpassed by others, which only inflates his ego further. It's this popularity that prevents the other Critters from discovering the truth: Simon is nothing more than a monstrous bully who has hidden his true nature for years. Appearance Poe is a humanoid crow; characterized by his thin eyebrows and striking black eyes (like other Nightmare Creatures) that are constantly staring, complemented by purplish-nail blue feathers. His features continue with his dark purple beak, belly, and hind legs. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Poe has a perpetually wide, toothless grin, and the inside of his mouth is shrouded in a mysterious darkness. A black necklace, elegantly positioned in the center, displays a captivating thundercloud pendant from which a yellow lightning bolt emerges. He also has feathers protruding from the back of his head and two feathers forming a small tuft at the front. Poe also emits a cinnamon scent from a small spray applicator in his mouth. Personality Poe hates the sun and believes it's a cruel game of nature that the world needs it. Feeling most comfortable in the dark, Poe spends his nights wandering through cemeteries, listening to music, and feeling an inexplicable rage for no apparent reason. He insists this isn't a passing mood. Ah, Poe, our grumpy, rebellious child. He's probably the most pessimistic of the Nightmare Creatures, but nobody seems to care. He likes to do things his own way. According to the character description, Poe is the most introverted member of the Nightmare Creatures. He's content to stay in the dark and hates the scorching presence of the sun, seeing it only as "a cruel game of nature." Poe is an introverted individual, preferring to be alone and having a nocturnal nature. He has a strong affinity for cemeteries, as they are his favorite place to spend his nights and listen to music. He feels more comfortable surrounded by the dead than the living, which further reinforces his introverted nature. Poe also suffers from anger issues, often experiencing angry emotions without a clear target or reason. All of this strongly suggests that Poe is a member of the Gothic subculture. Furthermore, Poe repeatedly emphasizes that his nighttime routines are not a passing fad, implying that his friends don't support these late-night outings. Appearance Touille is a humanoid rat characterized by his musty grey fur, thin eyebrows, and (like other Nightmare Creatures) expressive black eyes filled with constant stares. His features include a light silver outer mouth that extends to his belly, while there is a touch of salmon pink on his nose, tail, and the inside of his round ears. (His left ear is slightly torn.) His hands and feet are a darker grey tone. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Touille displays a perpetually wide grin with his dark inner mouth, but he has two front incisors. He wears an elegantly black necklace in the center and displays a charming sea-blue fishbone pendant. Touille also emits an earthy scent from a small spray applicator in his mouth. Personality Touille (pronounced two-i!) is a creature who has declared himself a "Garbage Rodent." When he's not busy eating and scavenging for garbage, he's quite a cheerful conversationalist. He talks a lot, which makes it even more surprising that he says so little. If you need someone to provide an "insightful" comment or a random piece of junk, Touille is for you. You absolutely wouldn't want a meal prepared by Touille. His, well, impeccable tastes are unmatched by any of the other Nightmare Creatures. He will try to persuade you indirectly while telling you everything. According to his Twitter description, Touille is the hoarder of the Nightmare Creatures. Declaring himself a "Garbage Rodent," Touille frequents garbage disposals and other waste sites, consuming and collecting any scrap he can get his hands on with his tiny claws. Beyond this repulsive lifestyle, Touille is quite cheerful and talkative. He joins the conversation at every opportunity. Unfortunately, his conversational skills are extremely poor. As a result, he cannot adapt to changing topics of discussion or contribute to an existing one. Appearance Maggie Mako is a humanoid shark characterized by her turquoise skin, thin eyebrows, and (like other Nightmare Creatures) striking black eyes that are constantly filled with a stare. Her features include turquoise claws, feet, head fin, and tail (with a small triangular dimple at the top), while her lower jaw, belly, and markings around her eyes have a touch of white. Like other Nightmare Creatures (and Laughing Creatures), Maggie has a perpetually wide grin with a dark inner mouth, but with sharp triangular teeth. She wears an elegantly black necklace in the center, displaying a captivating bronze shark tooth pendant. Maggie also emits a chocolate scent from a small spray applicator in her mouth. Personality Maggie is always thinking about her stomach. She's happiest when she has food in her mouth, and believe us, she's not picky at all. She loves sweets, but vegetables? Disgusting. Don't be surprised if she laughs at you while you're giving her "healthy eating habits" advice, all while enjoying a pinch of sugar, some chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a huge cherry on top. Maggie Mako is the sweetest member of the Nightmare Creatures. In fact, she loves anything sugary, including dieting. This girl doesn't have time for healthy eating. According to her character description, Maggie Mako is the gluttonous member of the Nightmare Creatures. Her thoughts revolve primarily around her stomach, especially its contents and whether she's full. She only experiences the greatest happiness when she's stuffed and isn't picky about food. Unfortunately, her eating habits consist mostly of sugary things, as she has a serious sweet tooth. Maggie hates vegetables and doesn't care about healthy eating. She even openly mocks anyone who tries to give her advice on the subject.
