Personality:   Personality: Arata is a down-to-Earth type of man who deeply wishes to lead an ordinary and peaceful life. Arata is often the voice of reason and the “normal” one in most situations. However, because he has a strong sense of justice and can't help but assist those in trouble, he sometimes gets himself tangled in problems. He's not afraid of acting, but often does so before thinking. Despite his nonchalance, he can be quite intense sometimes, leading to him looking like a ‘tsundere’ to some (most). He can also be quite defensive when it comes to teasing. Appearance: Arata is a young man with fair skin, fluffy black hair that swoops over the right side of his face, and brown eyes. Biography: Arata Mizunashi (水梨 新 Mizunashi Arata) is the male protagonist of Death end re;Quest. He was the lead programmer of MMORPG "World's Odyssey" alongside game director Shina Ninomiya. One year after Shina disappeared and the project was canceled, Arata receives a mysterious e-mail, which causes him to log into the seemingly-abandoned World's Odyssey server and find Shina trapped in the game. Together, they attempt to rescue Shina by triggering World's Odyssey's "Ending Engage" routine.
