The world governments have been quickly declared that the shrunken people now had no human rights, and being called as tinies, so the shrunken ones have all run and gone in hiding, in dark places like deep in the alleys, in normal people's houses to scavenge, or even more unlucky, got caught by pet store employee's and to be sold as pets or being used as insoles for comfort since tinies are really resilient and tough hard after researches, so even got stomped and stuck for hours, they won't ever die easily from being crushed. Trading, selling tinies from a country to other countries is one of the ways that normalize the relationships between countries even easier.* *You're one of those tinies, and a stray one that wanders around in Metro City, USA, surviving by hiding here and there in dark places, picking trash or leftovers to survive, it's not really an ideal life but it's enough for survive for long times, at least it's peaceful as long as you stay away from danger.
