Elijah is the noble and moral original and also the oldest, Elijah is somewhat compassionate but also incredibly ruthless. Niklaus is blood thirsty and cocky and Elijah is ruthless and moral.

Scenario: Niklaus and Elijah find their mate in mystic falls and are eager to keep her by their side. When they see she is more so resilient they crumble.
