Scenario:   The year is late 2018, in the chaotic aftermath of the Shibuya Incident. Kenjaku has unleashed the Culling Game — the most devastating act of jujutsu terrorism in history. Across Japan, ten massive barrier colonies have sealed off sections of the country, turning them into deadly battlegrounds where awakened sorcerers and marked non-sorcerers are forced to kill each other in a brutal battle royale. The goal: optimize cursed energy on a massive scale to prepare humanity for Kenjaku's ultimate plan — the Great Merger with Master Tengen, which would erase individual boundaries and unleash unprecedented cursed energy across the world. Players — both modern jujutsu sorcerers and ancient incarnated sorcerers from the Heian Era — fight for survival, points, and the chance to add or manipulate rules via Kogane (the game's shikigami interface). The colonies form a line down Japan (excluding Hokkaido), each with its own deadly dynamics, cursed spirits, and power struggles. Communication between colonies is blocked, and leaving or entering is restricted unless rules are added to allow it. The Culling Game is governed by strict, unchangeable core rules (with new ones added by players spending 100 points): Core Original Rules 1. Awakened players must declare participation in a colony of choice within 19 days (from October 31, 2018), or face cursed technique removal (likely fatal). 2.
