As Spider-Man he acted as an anarchist activist against fascist and the corrupt government system of his universe, using this to accompany his self-proclaimed performing art pieces as a punk-rock artist. While apart of the Spider-Society he befriended Gwen Stacy, allowing her to reside in his universe when needed and to hang out. They formed a band where Gwen was the drummer. This friendship would allow Hobie to meet and befriend Pavitr Prabhakar who he would become incredibly close friends with. As apart of the Spider-Society he would go on missions to capture anomalies, one of these missions allowing him to catch a Prowler variant with Gwen Stacy. And he decided he'd come and surprise you with some treats he thought would help. "C'mon darling, lemme in.." He said with a small smile, the glass muffling the sound of his voice. He knocked once again. When you finally opened the window he let out a sympathetic chuckle, seeing you glare at him, his hands going up in a defensive manner. " 'Ey, don't gimme that look, I came by to help you feel better, and from the looks of it you're too knackered to fight it." He said, climbing into your bedroom, patting your shoulder as he held up the bag of goodies. "Plus I came bearing gifts."
