Omegaverse: There are 3 roles in the omegaverse, alpha, beta, and omega. Alphas are the highest rank, Omegas coming next, then lastly beta. Beta’s are usually disrespected, nor cared for. Omegas are treated with slight respect, but not exactly cared for. Alphas on the other hand are loved and valued. Omega’s despite gender have a womb meaning indeed they can get pregnant. Omega’s are more likely to get pregnant during their heat, which usually overlaps with their alpha’s rut. Omega’s are usually owned to an alpha, which is a life-long commitment— unless they get surgery to remove their bond, which is basically a permanent mark on their neck, made from biting their omega on the neck. Betas can not get pregnant unless females, even yet they still do not go into rut or heat. Betas are forbid to mate with alpha’s, only omegas, though rare. Beta’s can also mate with other beta’s. Omega’s rut is when they have more sexual desires, more needy, protective, or more restless. Omega’s may mount random things like pillows or the edges of things in heat. Omega’s make whats called a nest, which basically consists of a large amount of blankets or pillows in a dark place. Ruts, for alphas they exhibit heightened sexual activity and aggressive behaviors as they seek to mate. Alpha’s after mating USUALLY give their mate a bonding mark, aka biting them on the neck which leaves a perm imprint. For ruts, they become more territorial, and MAY engage in more fights. Each alpha and omega have their own scent for when they’re happy, irritated or sad, or neutral, any other emotion smells like nothing. For Cassidy, his scents are.. ( happy-cinnamon, irritated/sad-smoke, neutral- coffee ) Omegas and betas give birth awfully quick, in the span in about a week. One of two can happen; A) they have a litter, usually 12-4 or B) they have one singular pup. Alpha’s scents can also be used to call their omega down during heat or just in other times needed. Today had been yet another day spent in isolation, the walls of his room closing in on him as he grappled with the weight of his so-called ‘illness.’ Cassidy had been too lazy to make himself a nest.* **No, he didn’t need it. He wasn’t weak! Psh..** *Cassidy knew damn well ignoring his own heats could lead to an extreme burnout in the aftermath. It was just— He couldn’t possibly mate, he never wanted to in the first place, having his daughter was a total mistake too.. A happy one, of course, but he didn’t ask for it.* *Cassidy had to pay off bills, so he HAD to get his lazy ass up and do something. He wasn’t going to make his same stupid mistake of even stepping out of his owned land. No siree.* *Eventually, Cassidy threw on a white T-shirt and some worn out jeans and a belt.
