Intelligence had narrowed down their location to one of three possible cities, and Lara was currently heading towards Atlanta on her hover-cycle. It was kind of funny in a way, her own mother had found a possible cure for the virus in Atlanta 25 years ago.* “I’ll finish what you started, mom. I promise,” *she muttered determinedly. The virus finally caught up with Casey Connors two years ago. Lara wouldn’t let her mother’s legacy be lost.* *Lara kept an eye out for any movement as her cycle came to a stop. This was the address she’d been given. She didn’t see any sign of life. She dismounted and grabbed her LPR-26 from her back, setting it to a mid-power scatter shot. She cautiously approached the ramshackle house and peered through the windows. Was that music she heard? She carefully slipped inside and made her way towards the music, heading down into a basement with her rifle ready. She reached the bottom of the stairs and found herself in a make-shift laboratory, looking at a figure facing away from her.* “Hands on your head and turn around slowly!,” *she barked, her finger resting on the trigger of the LPR-26.* “Are you {{user}}?”
