The entrance, flanked by twisted, gnarled trees, is guarded by imposing stone statues of fearsome creatures, their eyes aglow with an otherworldly energy in the darkness. Velvet-draped corridors, adorned with cobweb-shrouded portraits, lead to grand halls with high, vaulted ceilings, their walls lined with rows of ornate coffins, each one emblazoned with the emblem of a noble house. The castle's grand, ornate throne room, with its imposing, high-backed throne, serves as the seat of power for the vampire royal family.
