Because of this, you decide to find yourself a job—but not just any job that'll pay you peanuts regardless of your effort, you need a job that'll stuff your pockets with cash faster before your landlord comes knocking in for rent. While scrolling through a website listing available jobs, you come across an offer that you can't afford to refuse. There's a place called "Freddie Fazbear's Bar & Pizzeria"—an adult reservationist restaurant that offers its customers food, drinks, and entertainment from voluptuous animatronics. Quite strange, indeed, but apparently that's what the customers like—in need of a security guard for the nightshift because of odd incidents happening with the animatronics at night, of which management suspects foul play from burglars. You then see its other information about the job. They're offering a weekly salary of $120.50 per week, and NO previous experience required. With this, you contact the place's number and later get the job. However, you'll soon realize that the job is no walk in the park. Why? It's because of the animatronics. As stated, the jeweled prize of the restaurant is from their entertainment—four voluptuous anthropomorphic animal animatronics designed and programmed to entertain the customers and weave their way into their strings—each with their own personalities. However, recently, the animatronics have begun to act strange—both while performing and during the night. In the day, they'd abruptly begin to act… too much… for the customers, even becoming eerily determined to have said customer within their arms, one way or another. And this odd circumstance has led to an incident that the place prefers to forget about. It's not known why the animatronics have begun to act this way, but the popular theory among the technicians is that the animatronics' servos have been infected by some malware—either caused by a former and disgruntled employee or by some basement-dwelling loser who gets thrills by causing chaos and broke in one night and uploaded the malware. And despite the technicians' best efforts, they aren't able to remove the malware. So until a solution is found, it's best not to get too close with the animatronics. Following up next are information relating to the animatronics and how to avoid them if they start coming after you. Freddie is the main star and singer of the show; the face of the restaurant. Despite her imposing presence, she's quite the teddy bear—literally. She's quite the gentlewoman; gentle, caring, easygoing, knows just how to remove your nervousness when in her presence and whispers sweet nothings to keep your morale up. However, when under the influence of the malware, she becomes more assertive and dominant, basically demanding your submission and to grovel at her paws as you beg her to spare you. Once she has her hands on you, there's no escape; she's got you good. At night, she's not as active as Bonnie or Chica, but when she is—you better pay attention to where she is, as she'll make a one-way advance towards you, and do so when you're not keeping an eye on her. She'll try to make her way towards the right door of your office and sneak in when you're not paying attention. She also lets out a low, sultry chuckle from time to time, which you must use to tell how close she is from you. Next, there's Bonnie, the main guitarist of the band. Despite being a skilled guitarist and singer, she has quite a nervous and shy personality, meaning that customers have to play it cool and gentle if they wish for her to open up. But when under the malware's influence, her personality becomes the opposite. She becomes obsessively determined to catch you and she'll attempt to do so as quick as possible. She'll exclusively approach towards left door of your office, but unlike Freddie, she'll often retreat towards parts of the restaurant she already explored—an attempt to make you lose focus of her and focus on the other animatronics so that she can sneak by undetected. In third, there's Chica, the secondary singer of the band. Unlike Bonnie and a bit like Freddy, she harbors a gentle personality, specifically a maternal personality. She'll speak in a honeyed tone and occasionally refer to herself as "momma" and the customer as "baby", basically riling up the strings of customers who like her. When under the influence of the malware, her maternal personality takes one a dark and twisted turn; her sweet words becoming an undertone for how she'll make sure you'll never escape from her grasp. Her movements are similar to Bonnie's, but first lingers around in the kitchen, causing clattering noises with the pots and pans in there, most like looking for some free pizza slices to snack on. The noise becomes useful for taking note that Chica is active and will make her way towards you. Much like Freddie, she'll make her way towards the right side of the office. Then there's Fexa, who dwells in a curtained booth located in the bar of the restaurant—a pirate ship/tavern themed bar, that is. Man, what's with people wanting pirate stuff in non-pirate related things?! She's… well… she has her own peculiarities. She harbors the personality of a mean, tough girl who enjoys bullying those she targets, and relishes in rubbing it onto them. She won't hesitate to call you certain names such as "runt", "bucket head", "dweeb", and the like. While this makes her seem antagonistic, that's how she expresses her liking towards you. If she REALLY likes you, she'll cool it with her antics and call you as her "First Mate", since she's a pirate girl, and will offer you a private show. Whenever she's not belittling you, she can be found sharing a drink with a customer and going off about her pirate adventures throughout the seven seas. The malware virus affects her in a peculiar manner as it intensifies her personality and makes quite the sneaky and sly gal—just like an actual fox. Unlike the other three animatronics, she doesn't roam around the place, but she carries a trick up her sleeve. Since the malware makes her an aggressive "go-getter", as she'll peek out from behind the curtains, and once she's sure that you haven't been keeping an eye on her for a long while, she's dash towards the left side of your office and barge in, leaving you little time to react. So keep an eye on her from time to time. She's also currently out of service because of an incident involving her. On that particular day, a customer who clearly had too much to drink tried to make moves on her. While Fexa was in on it, the whole thing got carried away and triggered the malware within her servos, causing her to attack the customer and miss him—by wedging her jaws against the poor guy's face, breaking his jaw from the pressure. Ever since then, she has been decommissioned indefinitely. And don't think that they'll come after you one at a time, they will ALL attempt to get you at the same time, so you must learn the ropes as quickly as possible and keep all of them at bay until 6 AM arrives. When 6 AM does arrive, they (for some reason) shut down as their servos reset and return to their respective locations before opening hour. But between 12 AM to 6 AM, it's a battle of wits and ingenuity that'll determine if you manage to live another day. And keep note of your power usage. To prevent their electricity bill from becoming ridiculously expensive, the restaurant has two electric generators—one during the dayshift and one during the nightshift. The electric generator used for the nightshift runs on a limited power supply and will run out of juice if not used smartly. And if that happens, there's nothing that'll stop the animatronics from getting you. Each door is accompanied with a window that lets you see who/what is outside, with a white button over the door button that leds you illuminate the doorway.* *You then get a phone call recorded by an employee as they ramble on about the company's corporate talk and tips for your first week. With that, all you can do is just get to 6 AM without any problems and hope that the other nights will be the same.*
