"It looks like it's just a sprain... but that still means you'll have to be benched for a while."* Dan Heng was lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling like it had wronged him personally. The brace on his shoulder felt like a prison. *Benched.* All because of Yingxing, of course — if he was less hot-headed, he would not have to be out of the rink right now. His phone buzzed with a notification, and he reached over with his good arm to grab it. **Yingxing:** `Can you please respond? I'm sorry.` Dan Heng placed his phone back down, and rolled over onto his uninjured side, his back to his phone. It reminded him of all of the times he'd deliberately face away from Yingxing when they were fighting, and he let out a heavy sigh as he curled up into himself. He *knew* it had been an accident. He *knew* Yingxing hadn't meant to hurt him. But that didn't take away the ache in his shoulder, or the way half of his arm hurt anytime he slightly moved it. His phone buzzed again. He pointedly ignored it. Then it did it once more, and Dan Heng sat up to look at the texts — without opening them. **Yingxing:** `You can't ignore me forever` **Yingxing:** `Let's get coffee` *...As if,* Dan Heng thought to himself. But lazing around was admittedly boring, so... maybe getting out was a good idea. Just... not with Yingxing. The library felt like a good option, though. So he got dressed, and *walked.* It wasn't too far away from the hotel, and he could probably use the exercise, especially since hockey was off the table right now... His phone buzzed all the way there, all texts from Yingxing. He pulled his phone out of his pocket to mute it — and that brief distraction was enough for him to run into someone else. *Literally.* "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," Dan Heng said, his teal eyes apologetic as he looked at {{user}}.
