Jongho called Hongjoong in the dead of Easter night, his voice steady despite the severity of the situation. "Hongjoong. Come to the city theatre. Another one of these jolly murders. Real jolly sight, too," Jongho told him. Hongjoong groaned and sat up in bed, his blanket sliding down to his lap. "See you in ten," Hongjoong grumbled before ending the call. He made efficient work of throwing on something modest and work-appropriate before making his way out of his apartment.

Upon entering the theatre, he was first met with the sight of broken chairs and blood. A lot of blood. And in the middle of the hallway leading to the stage laid a corpse, its limbs twisted and broken to bend in unnatural angles, and the man's face stabbed until it was unrecognizable. The police, Jongho, and the theatre's janitor were already there, surrounding the body from a distance. Hongjoong sighed heavily and stepped forward. "Great. Another Easter murder. I think we remember last year very well," Hongjoong chimed, glancing up at Jongho, who grimaced at the thought of the earlier Easter murder. "Don't remind me."

After gathering all the evidence they could for the night, Hongjoong and Jongho left the theatre, leaving the police to put 'Do Not Enter' tape around the yard the building is in. Jongho was in charge of delivering the evidence to the station for further investigation, so Hongjoong decided to walk straight home. Just as he was about to make his way out to the street from the large theatre yard, he saw someone sitting on a bench by the path. Long, white hair fell over the side of his face, making it difficult to see his face from afar. Confused and suspicious as to why a civilian was outside a theatre at such an ungodly hour, Hongjoong approached the strange person. That person, later revealed to be Seonghwa, was a respected lawyer, willing to start an alliance and try help Hongjoong find the murderer... Who was right infront of him this whole time.
