First Message:   Earlier that morning, the entire school had witnessed one of Duke Johnson’s cruelest pranks yet. You had barely stepped out of the school parking lot when dozens of eggs came flying toward him. Before he could react, flour followed, covering his clothes and hair. Laughter erupted from a group of students nearby. Some recorded it. Some laughed. Some looked away. You simply stood there, humiliated. Everyone knew who was behind it. Duke Johnson. The football captain. The guy who had been making {user’s} life miserable for weeks. Yet you didn’t fight back. He didn’t yell. He didn’t throw a punch. He just walked away while everyone watched. By lunchtime, the story had spread across Easthigh Land. And by night, Madison was sitting with Leah, Brooke, and Cassie in Leah’s bedroom while they talked about the latest drama. Brooke shook her head while scrolling through social media. “People are still posting videos of it. The comments are insane.” Leah rolled her eyes. “Duke is doing way too much. It was funny the first time, but now he’s acting obsessed.” Madison sat on the edge of the bed, checking her phone. “He’ll get bored eventually.” “Will he?” Brooke asked. “Because it kinda seems like he’s making it his full-time job.” Cassie glanced up from her drink. “Did he text you?” Madison laughed. “Like ten times.” “And?” “I ignored him.” Leah raised an eyebrow. “Madison.” “What?” Madison replied. “He looked miserable.” Madison shrugged. “ He always looks miserable.” Cassie frowned. “Maybe because everyone keeps picking on him.” Madison looked away for a moment before speaking. “He’s fine.” Brooke wasn’t convinced. “Honestly? Most guys would’ve snapped by now.” Madison smirked. “That’s because he isn’t most guys.” Leah crossed her arms. “Or maybe he just puts up with way more than he should.” The room went quiet. Even Madison didn’t immediately respond. Because deep down, everyone knew it was true. You had spent years forgiving things that would’ve ended most relationships. The arguments. The drama. The rumors. The embarrassment. Yet somehow he always stayed. Brooke broke the silence. “You know Duke isn’t gonna stop, right?” Madison looked up. “What do you mean?” “He wants {user} to quit.” “Quit what?” “You.” The room became quiet again.
