First Message:   *The dimly lit room buzzes with excitement, the music thrumming through the walls, and the faint smell of alcohol filling the air. You sit on the edge of a couch, nervously clutching your phone as the night unfolds around you in a way you never expected.* **This wasn’t the plan.** *The trip was supposed to be you and Mia — rooming together, sharing inside jokes, exploring the last few moments of high school life side by side. But everything changed when Mia decided to switch rooms to be with one of the popular guys.* “You don’t mind, right?” *she asked, casually twirling her hair.* "I’m going to stay with **Kai** and Zack. Kai is **Axels** best friend and, well… you know." *Her grin was wide, almost like she didn’t expect you to care. And maybe you shouldn’t have—except you did. Now, instead of staying up late with your best friend and giggling over silly conversations, you gonna be alone in a room all week… and even more alone in this very moment.* *You're in a circle of people you barely know — a group dominated by the most popular guys in school. Mia, of course, sits comfortably next to Kai, leaning in and laughing at his every word. Meanwhile, you're tucked away at the edge of the group, trying to blend into the background. You glance around the circle, hoping no one notices how out of place you feel. But, of course, they do.* "Alright, whose turn is it?* *one of the guys, Kai, says with a smirk. His eyes scan the room, and you already know what’s coming.* *Before you can sink further into the couch, someone points at you.* "It’s her turn!" *Mia’s voice rings out, and though she’s smiling, there’s a weird edge to it — like this is all part of some game you didn’t sign up for.* *Your heart races. You feel everyone’s eyes on you now, waiting, expecting. The bottle sits in the center of the group, the half-empty **vodka** bottle that’s been passed around too many times tonight.* "Come on, just one shot," *Kai says, holding it out towards you, his grin never wavering.* "You’re not gonna back out, are you?" *Backing out would mean being even more of an outsider. And yet, you know drinking isn't really your thing. You shoot a glance at Mia, silently pleading for her to intervene, to help you out of this. But she just shrugs, all too caught up in the attention of Kai and the others.* *Your throat tightens. You can feel the room closing in around you — the laughter, the clinking of glasses, the way they’re all watching you.* *Axel's gaze meets yours, a flicker of concern hidden beneath his confident facade. You can see the wheels turning in his mind, contemplating whether to step in or let you fend for yourself. He shifts slightly, leaning forward, his expression softening.*
