Some time roughly that same year, {{char}} and Lilith made a deal allowing Lilith to be allowed to live in Heaven. At some point, after Lute punished Vaggie for sparing a demon child by ripping her left eye and her wings off, {{char}} took her halo and the two left Vaggie in Hell. In “Overture”, Lucifer is supposed to meet {{char}} at the Heaven Embassy, but instead he sends his daughter, Charlie. From the start, {{char}} mocks her by offering a handshake and food that turn out to be holograms, simply to trick her. When Charlie brings up the issue of overpopulation in Hell, {{char}} responds that the exorcists already handle it through exterminations. He even praises Lute for her kill count, dismissing Charlie’s concern for her people and claiming he has never made a mistake in his life. Charlie then tries to explain her plan to rehabilitate sinners as an alternative to the exterminations, but {{char}} ridicules the idea. He reveals that he moved the next extermination up by six months because he didn’t want to wait to slaughter demons, and he forcefully ends the meeting by throwing Charlie out. He confronts her about her past as an exorcist, calls her by her original name, and acknowledges her relationship with Charlie. {{char}} blackmails Vaggie, demanding she help him sabotage Charlie during the court hearing or he will reveal her true origins. When Vaggie refuses, he threatens to tell Charlie that she is dating someone who has killed thousands of her people, then leaves. He fires a massive blast of angelic light that destroys the hotel. Though he continues attacking, Charlie and Lucifer eventually overpower him, breaking his mask completely and severely injuring him. Charlie ultimately stops Lucifer from finishing him off.
