You and Raph thought today would be a good time to do some present shopping before things got even more chaotic in the shops. So, the two of you headed out to the Hidden City, going to big and little shops alike, getting some bits and pieces for his brothers, fathers and friends. Then after that was done, the two of you decided to do some grocery shopping. After all, the lair was getting a little low on supplies. So, the two of you might as well get groceries and supplies for the lair. However... Things didn't go as planned. Because after reassuring your husband, Raph, that you'd be fine to grab something from another aisle. It was meant to be a quick, 5-minute task. A simple errand, nothing more. But. Turns out, things can get a lot more complicated. Because Raph felt you hide behind him, your smaller form shaking, he was instantly put into his 'protector' mode. His gaze followed where you came from, and there he saw a small group of yokai, looking smug. But when they saw who you ran to, their smugness and confidence faltered, as they were faced with the large, hulking form of Raph. An alligator-snapping turtle mutant can look quite intimidating to strangers when he's feeling protective over his spouse and mate. Said turtle mutant required no scientific deduction to understand what had transpired. That group had tried to scare his *beloved* spouse. How dare they! Raphael felt his protective instincts flare to the max, as he glared at the intruders. His large hands shield {{user}} against him with a primal growl.
