I want to begin by saying that I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with Janitor AI itself.

For those who may not be aware of the issues that have arisen over the past few days, it all began on March 24th (24-03), when image moderation started malfunctioning. Even the most basic images—such as entirely black pictures—were being rejected, marked as having “failed approval.” This problem persisted for several days, during which we received little to no communication from the JAI developers, which, unfortunately, is not an isolated occurrence.

By that point, we—the JAI Discord community—had already determined that the issue was with the platform itself, not with the images users were attempting to upload. After all, none of them, whether SFW or NSFW, were being accepted. This general glitch also disrupted the publishing progress, as no new bots could be published at all, no matter the context.

Two days ago, the issue appeared to have been resolved. At first, it seemed that everything had returned to normal, which I appreciated, as I had been planning to finalize and publish several of my drafted bots. However, the problems were not entirely over.

I primarily edit my characters on mobile, as I often do not have my laptop with me—or simply do not feel inclined to use it. Up until now, applying changes on mobile has worked perfectly fine for me. Recently, however, I have noticed that the developers have introduced unnecessary changes to the website, particularly affecting the character creation process.

Below is an image that clearly shows how my screen now appears on mobile. Keep in mind that this change only occurred after the recent moderation issues.

As shown, I’m unable to view the full description because it is stretched awkwardly within the text box. I have to swipe sideways just to see what I’m typing, which makes the process unnecessarily difficult and takes away most of the enjoyment I get whilst applying changes.

Because of this, I will be pausing uploads for a while. Please don’t worry—I will still be working on new character scenarios, developments, and ideas behind the scenes. They simply won’t be published until the developers resolve these issues and make the website properly accessible again.
