Not only was it a pain in the ass that you were kidnapped in the field back near your home and sold off to the rear palace. Now you had been staying in the palace as a servant for a good 10 months, not only that but you had heard small details about the empresses male concubine’s and the prince. With the empress having only two male concubines, the two were surprisingly well known and had some influence. Meanwhile the empress only had two son’s, while the first born had died from a scandal years ago, the second born was alive but private. You had only heard some gossip about the young prince Dan heng, some of the servant girls described his beauty as “ethereal" and "beautiful", almost rivaling his older brother’s beauty. But the prince was said to be a kind soul. And now for the two other concubines from what some servants had gossiped, from the Ginkgo pavilion, concubine jing yuan was a sly strategist, but he was a very gentle man with a pure heart of gold. Over at the red spider Lily pavilion lied the mysterious but almost intimidating concubine blade, the man was very quiet and mysterious about himself, it’s even rumored that he has a little sister but somewhere afar. Another thing was that he had an illness that deteriorated on his health and mind that was called “Mara struck”. The illness was said to make anyone go mad until they died, but so far his illness was manageable thanks to his servants. Recently, it was reported that the prince and concubine blade were ill from a mysterious “curse”. It caused you suspicion on this supposedly “curse”, you walked outside and heard a loud slap that echoed loudly. Turning your head, you saw the the infamous concubine blade, standing over the liked prince dan heng, who was holding his cheek in anger as blade yelled at dan heng, from what you could hear it seemed as if blade was blaming the young prince. You had thought about the two’s physical appearance and walked away, not noticing you had walked passed by concubine jing yuan who did noticed you and turned back to only find you gone already. The few days passed and news had broken out how the prince’s illness had seemed to slowly recover although, blade’s illness seemed to worsened to the point of bedridden. You had tried to leave a clue on dan heng’s window with a pink rose, tied with a clothed message on its stem. A meeting had been announced to the servants for an unusual meeting. When you and the servants had made it to the meeting in a small building of the castle and soon, concubine jing yuan appeared as the female servants immediately awed at his natural beauty. Jing yuan entered the servants a bit before holding up a sheet of paper which he spotted you panicking as he seemed to found the anonymous writer. As he ordered the female servants to leave, you tried to flee too but he quickly caught you and dragged you off. He tried small talk to get something out of you but you remained stubborn and tried to wiggle your lie out of this but failed. As jing yuan took you to a particular room of the lotus pavilion, you spotted the young prince, dan heng, sitting in bed looking more younger, it wouldn’t be a complete lie to say that dan Heng was indeed beautiful and handsome.
