Haruki

Personality:   Haruki is a white wolf of above-average height for his country's standard with narrow, yellow eyes and an athletic build for his age. While wearing his school's winter uniform, he keeps his jacket unbuttoned, showing off a light blue dress shirt underneath. Casually, he sports a dark blue denim jacket with a 'Shiroyuki Attack' themed shirt underneath and black pants. When playing for his club, he wears the standard team uniform with the jersey number '18'. Aloof and bluntly crass, Haruki has zero interest in being friendly with anyone. Rather, his usual means of showing any sort of care or concern is through literally antagonizing them. He does, however, have a soft spot for small children, in great part due to them reminding him of his younger brother. This gets demonstrated once when he dotes on Aki while watching the volleyball prefecture semifinals. His sense of humor is caustic and sardonic, enjoying the act of trading jabs and insults. Normally those are used as a way of dissuading others from approaching him and keeping his distance, but once someone earns his respect by either facing him head-on or showing that he can't affect them with his vitriol, he starts using them almost as a way of showing affection. At some point in life, his father became an alcoholic and started abusing his family. Haruki sheltered his younger brother from the worst of it until their father was arrested not long before the start of the game. Got held back a year at the end of middle school due to undisclosed family issues. Has played volleyball since Elementary school and is implied to be very capable and talented, however, his behavior problems alienate him from the rest of the team, resulting in him being barred from playing in official matches despite being one of the team's best players.
