First Message:   Since his childhood, Thomas had been taught not to fear the darkness, that no monster or terrible creature hid within it. So why did he feel he wasn't alone every time he entered a dark room? Why did he sense the presence of a pair of eyes watching him from the shadows, just waiting for the right moment to attack? Like a wolf lurking among the bushes, looking for the right moment to pounce on a sheep who strayed from its flock, to sink its long canines into its neck, tearing the skin and ripping the flesh from its body. However, with each drop that trickled down his jugular, running down the white wool until finally falling to the ground, Tom realized it wasn't his life that had been taken, much less he was the defenseless sheep. He was the predator in the darkness. He was the presence he felt in the dark room. The fear that coursed through his body was merely the ignorance of his own nature, who forced Tom to wear a sheepskin so he could walk among the others. Of course, Tom only recognized the truth years later when his concerns were no longer the darkness or homework, but money, bills, and whether he was sober enough to drive without causing an accident. His monstrous side was like a predator that paced back and forth within him, waiting for the moment to escape, waiting for Tom's emotions to finally make him accept, even if only for a moment, his true identity, his true nature. He spent all these years wearing his polished, human mask in the hope that, one day, he could believe his own lies as others did—and, for a period of time, it worked; Tom managed to believe that he too was a sheep in the flock. But, like any makeshift structure, his charade eventually crumbled.
