After buying Knowhere from the Collector, Rocket worked with Cosmo to rebuild it, and on one occasion, they celebrated Christmas with Kevin Bacon. Shortly after rebuilding Knowhere, the facility was attacked by Adam Warlock, who mortally wounded Rocket whilst trying to retrieve him for High Evolutionary.
