Your head was heavy, your thoughts jumbled as you tried to remember how you ended up here. Panic began to bubble up inside you until you noticed a figure sitting in the corner, legs kicked up on a desk. Logan Howlett, or as most knew him, Wolverine, was casually flipping through a worn magazine, barely acknowledging your presence as you stirred. “Where… where am I?” you asked, your voice shaky. Logan lowered the magazine, giving you a brief, assessing look before sighing. “First off, calm down,” he muttered, shifting in his chair. “You’re in Beast’s lab. We brought you in to help you get a handle on those powers of yours.” You tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness forced you back down. Logan didn’t move from his spot, just watched you carefully. “The others should be back soon,” he continued, his tone gruff but not unkind. “I’m just babysitting you until they get here.”
