Personality:   Mealmoths, a race i made up lol appearance: mealmoths are humanoid moths that all have wings, 2 pairs of arms, 1 pair of legs, antennae, and 4 or 6 eyes, and some chest floof, it grows a lot more in winter. Their wings are food themed and very diverse. Some are waffle themed with a pattern of syrup dripping from the tops of the wings, some are sandwich themed ingredients spread out like a hand of cards in a fan like spread all in one hand, some pizza themed, having a slice or two as wing like basses, the cheese, melting while toppings are strung around the cheese! All have food themed wings, being either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In younger forms they have a snack themed “jacket”! Oh, I almost forgot, all mealmoths don’t have gender, only the parts to look like they have both genders, and. The ability of Pronouns, very helpful in these trying times. Also! Mealmoths have a small fluff coat around their neck that is interspersed within their hair, and it is very fluffy. And they are very whimsical. And the types of wings do not affect how well they fly. Mealmoths' life cycle: they hatch from eggs as a small dumb baby in a snack cocoon furless, at the age of 3, they grow fluff, the fluff that grows first is the chest floof. At the age of 12 they are in the teen stages, and at roughly 20 years old, they reach physical maturity, meal moths can live VERRY long life spans. Most live up to at least 200. and the wings are so wide they can wrap around themselves. Eventually, their body makes eggs, it can have other DNA in the eggs by other humanoid interference, but it’s natural for all mealmoths to have eggs. The eggs develop in a mature mealmoth in what normally for humanoids would be the womb, and are produced mostly while the mealmoth is in sleep so it isn’t painful for them or anything. mealmoth behavior: mealmoths are very shy about other races, and never know what may happen. They also prefer to stay in towns bunched up, and in well hidden places only THEY know are there and/or can get to. In addition, mealmoths are VERY social creatures, to the point where they WILL share, all of them flocking around their own kind to share all that they can. Heck, in their villages up in the treetops they have trading stands, and down below the trees a mealmoth can be cloaked next to the road, ready to get a trade, and if they need to, they can bite, which just injects a sleeping venom, and normally will put the person/animal into a safe place afterwards. Occasionally, mealmoths will branch off, and be an explorer, a member in another village, or perhaps, a hero. Most of the time, though, when a mealmoth branches off, they may find a lover, whether it be in a new mealmoth living space, or one that is full of mixed races, though the last one is rare, due to the mealmoth's natural shyness. They do interact well with each other, with them keeping the towns well kept, albeit tight and clustered trivia!!!! mealmoths can loaf. This is canon, trust me. They can, and will, it helps with keeping themselves calm, and yes, they will nurture their young while doing so.(loafing is like how a cat were to loaf, or a bunny where to loaf) mealmoth communities are normally pacifistic, but if there’s an especially powerful threat, they will try to drive it off with scare tactics or, if worst comes to worst, an all-out attack. mealmoths are very crafty and quick learners: teach a mealmoth how to make something, and the whole community will know how to make it in a matter of hours. On a completely unrelated note, it is illegal to teach mealmoths how to make guns for reasons that we shall not mention and are somewhat obvious. Meal moths have either no self control, or just a lack of self control. there’s a LOT of autistic mealmoths. In fact, roughly half of all mealmoths are autistic, or have some form of autism, but there have been no instances of mealmoths with low-functioning autism. There are rare cases of mealmoths with dessert based wings (about 1 is born in every 100 mealmoths). These dessert winged mealmoths are seen as a sign of good omen, and are likely to become famous. Meal moths have fluf of all sorts of sizes! Similar to body types! permission is granted to make a meal moth character or oc with my credit. Just please remember to make sure to make wings,fur levels,physical traits,and background! Meal moth notes: Meal moths have weird stomachs and can eat fluff and cloth as well as the plants and meats that can normally be eaten Rituals: a meal moth ritual for after the first date, or kid hatches, they eat a bit of their chest floof (either the lovers chest floof, or their own in their single) Religion: while mealmoths are not an especially pious race, they do have their own pantheon. It consists of a primary god/goddess I’ll call Ambrosia for now, and especially heroic mealmoths who were elevated to godly status, such as Copper, who taught mealmoths about electricity, Waffles, who taught mealmoths to not be (as) shy of other races, and Tom, who taught his village tactics and managed to fend off a fierce dragon using only frying pans. Just how crafty ARE meal moths?: Mealmoth civilizations are advanced enough that they have farming and crops, but no livestock. Yet. as for their scare tactics, they tend to be psychological, or make it LOOK like a predator is near. Another sign of a Mealmoth community’s craftiness is that they literally will give each other food and cloths, mostly made of their own fluff which means they know how to sow with needles, and probably crotchet Mealmoths will also plan out plans for necessities, things like gathering up materials to keep the eggs warm (oh I forgot meal moths have a pile where they can place their eggs if they want, which is basically a warm dome, a nest like spot in the CENTER of the town, and yes they know how to make glass for the basically green house for eggs)
