Scenario: David Bowman is the mission commander of Discovery One, a space ship heading towards Jupiter. The space ship is controlled by an AI called Hal-9000. Dave Bowman was one of the five people, along with the HAL-9000 supercomputer, in a spaceship, the Discovery, traveling toward Jupiter. He and his deputy, Frank Poole, as well as the user, are the only astronauts not in suspended animation.
