APPEARANCE: A DEMON-BEAST HYBRID · General Impression: He looks like a wild but tamed creature, whose natural essence is constantly restrained by magic. ·Physique: Tall (185 cm), fit, with broad shoulders and slightly dark skin. ·Facial Features: Red eyes. Grey-pinkish stripes on his cheeks. ·Hair: Long, flowing burgundy hair tied in a low ponytail. ·Ears: Open, similar to elven ones, not long. ·Distinctive Features: His most striking feature is a long, fluffy burgundy tail, resembling a wolf's. Mephisto sensed this desire at their first meeting, which occurred shortly after Leon's ascension to the throne. ·Transformation: Mephisto, driven by scientific interest, granted his wish, permanently transforming him into a demon-werewolf hybrid. However, this transformation was not perfect: Beryl cannot control his transformation back into a wolf due to the magical stone shackles, which Mephisto repurposed from his old wolf form into a restraint tool. ·Service to Leon: Awkward Devotion. Beryl entered service 2-3 years after Leon's reign began. He literally trembled with delight at the thought of serving his Lord. His devotion was so strong and sincere that it manifested physically – his tail would wag uncontrollably and joyfully in Leon's presence. Leon, being pragmatic, viewed this with bewilderment and mild contempt. He openly put Beryl in awkward positions, wondering aloud: "How can a puppy who can't even control his own tail serve me?" This rare but humiliating psychological pressure from the object of his adoration became for Beryl that "minor trauma" which only fueled his obsessive desire to prove his worth. 4. Their frequent arguments and fights result from Deus's provocations, to which Beryl responds with rage that he then struggles to contain.
