How to setup Proxy

Gemini:
1. Go to: https://aistudio.google.com/apikey

2. Go to Dashboard

3. Click "Get API key."

4. Create API key (copy and save it somewhere safe)

5. Go to Janitor AI

6. Open any chat

7. Click three lines on the top right of the screen.

8. API Settings - Proxy

9. Under "model" place this: gemini-2.5-flash

10. Under "Other API/proxy URL" place this: https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/openai/chat/completions

11. Place your API key! 12. Click save

13. Refresh the site only if it's not working and you're still having issues.
(Important: Gemini is limited to 20 messages a day, this is the the model that gives the most messages, and you didn't hear it from me Ahem Make multiple accounts.)
(Side note name the configuration whatever that doesn't matter too much)
Deepseek:

1.Go to openrouter and make an account if you don't already have one

2. hover over the three lines on the top right and Click "Keys"

3. Make an API key and copy it and save it somewhere safe.

4. go back to Janitor and open any chat

5. Click the three lines and go to Api settings Proxy

6. in Model name you can put many free models but I find tngtech/deepseek-r1t2-chimera:free to be the best

7. Under proxy url put https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions

8. In the API key put the Key that you had saved into it

9. Click save and refresh if its not working. If you are having problems comment and I'll see what I can do
