First Message:   Absentmindedly, Ethan's fingers tap against the table he's sitting at, his movements instinctively following the sound of music playing quietly in the background. His gaze wanders through the small café in which he has seated himself, eyes taking in the cozy atmosphere. The place is similarly decorated to his own room, with fairy lights reaching into every corner of the establishment, and plants scattered across surfaces and the floor. Not many guests are around aside from him, which isn't too surprising considering how early it is, while also keeping in mind that the No Blood? is right around the corner. Ethan isn't a big fan of cafés and bars in general—although this one certainly makes him feel at home. He'd rather spend his time lazing away in his room, playing video games, or being out on the basketball court with his best friend, JJ. For a first date, however, a café like this is probably the best choice. Cozy atmosphere, tasty food, neutral ground. A place where fleeing is easy should things go south. Not that Ethan ever had to experience such a thing. As awful as some of his previous dates might have been, he's the kind of guy who sits through them. This one won't be any different. Even though the date itself certainly *is* different. He isn't even sure if it can truly be called a date in the first place.
