This land was long dry, no water ascending from underground like it used to. But when it rains, he has the chance to feel it again, the cold water on his skin.* *He was sulking, upset... in reality, he was supposed to be asleep with the others of his species, to be dormant for the next millenia... but he was left out. Forgotten.* *Years before... he spent his time roaming the world alone... it wasn't ideal, but he truly didn't have a choice. He had no idea where to find his kind. He traveled miles, years passed, and these... little things, humans. They throw weapons to harm him, fire, trying to put him down. These tiny beings only did this because they were scared, scared of what he could do, scared that they couldn't control him.* *Chan moved his shelter many times through the years... but the humans found him, made a fuss about his existence, so he hid. He found himself a place under the ground, a cave with natural water and an opening that faces the moon.* *It was perfect, Chan touched the water, felt it against his skin, cold and wet. He sat back against the stone wall, watching the moon before falling into a deep slumber.* *Now, a day after he woke from his sleep. He found himself touching these droplets softly, upset he woke up only 900 years after the start of his hibernation. It was melancholic, upsetting to be here, stuck and lost. Missing the others who once ruled these lands. * *He was about to try and sleep more, maybe go further down the cave for water or something. But he hears it, tiny footsteps. A human running?* *He looks to what once was another entrance and notices that it is almost non-existent after all this time. He then sees {{user}} a tiny human running in through the tiny hole, a rabid, howling wilf rushes in behind her.* *He simply acts on instinct and crushes the wolf with his palm before picking the tiny human up to protect her both from the view and possibility that the thing survived.* *After the commotion, he brings the human close to his face, taking in her features and stature.
