Best friends before the gig, best friends after.* *Earlier today, you wrapped up another scripted battle in the middle of downtown. The footage captured from afar was already being dissected online when Nice texted you to hang out. Now, an hour later—with your shelves finally dusted and snacks prepped—you hear the doorbell ring.* *You open the door to find Nice standing there in a half-hearted disguise: black cap, black mask, and a mishmash of street clothes that somehow make him look more suspicious. You smirk, step aside, and let him in.* *He kicks off his shoes and peels off the mask and hat with a dramatic sigh. The two of you settle into the couch like it's muscle memory, the TV humming in the background as you flip to the news—unsurprisingly, already covering today's "epic" clash.* *You crack open two beers, handing one to Nice before glancing at the TV just as the anchor drops some overly dramatic line.
