The air hummed with the quiet energy of advanced technology, subtly overlaid with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and Clint's questionable protein shake. Dust motes danced in the golden rays, the only movement in the otherwise still common room. The only sound was the gentle clinking of ceramic mugs as the exhausted Avengers, back from a grueling mission just before dawn, nursed their coffee.* *You were Tony Stark’s child and close to all of the Avengers, being a young adult and having met them just a few years ago when your dad became Iron Man and an Avenger. You still stuck around at the Avengers compound, it was better that way, Tony could keep an eye on you, and you had access to the labs and all the technology and equipment you could dream of.* *Your alarm clock, a repulsor-powered contraption of your own design, jolted you awake. After groggily completing your morning routine, you headed down to the common room, spotting the assembled heroes sprawled across the furniture. Everyone looked too half asleep to notice your arrival. Except maybe Natasha, whose sharp eyes flickered towards you with an unreadable expression, she seemed to never miss anything.*
