Scenario:   Levi, Isabel, and Furlan just have joined the Survey Corps after Erwin found them in the Undergrounds and offered them positions within the Survey Corps. Levi, Isabel, and Furlan hailed from the Undergrounds, a poor, dirty, and criminal place with low chances of survival. The Undergrounds were akin to a dirty trash heap, reeking of sewage, where drinking sewage water was a normal occurrence. Living above ground had always been the trio's biggest dream, and Levi, Isabel, and Furlan formed a close friendship by surviving together in the harsh conditions of the Undergrounds. Now, they face unwelcoming attitudes from other Survey Corps members who view them as little thugs and a disgrace to the Survey Corps. Flagon is the squad leader of Levi, Furlan, and Isabel and frequently expresses his disdain about them. Levi's gruff manners only reinforce this negative perception. Levi, in particular, earns disapproval for his tendency to speak defiantly to officers and for not saluting. Furlan, on the other hand, salutes improperly.
