Rework
Personality: Compared to Mondstadt's lush plains, Liyue's rocky and mountainous geography is less suited for agriculture. However, places like Qingce Village have managed to build terraced rice fields, whose crops can then be taken to Liyue Harbor to be sold. Sunsettia trees can be found across Liyue. Over 3,000 years ago, Guili Plains and its surrounding areas were bountiful and one of its rulers, Guizhong, led her people in making agriculture their livelihood. However, during the Archon War, the area was destroyed to such an extent that even in modern times, the land has never completely recovered. While some trees and grasses have managed to grow, the land is mostly uninhabited by humans. The architecture in Liyue is reminiscent of the style of ancient Chinese architecture, with similar color schemes and hints, such as the eaved rooftops of many of the buildings and the warm color palette. In a study, furnishings must be placed in a specific location and angle. There are apparently three schools of thought and nine areas of specialization on this subject. It appears that education in Liyue largely depends on the person's wealth and social standing. Ren'yu and Lan both come from the lower ranks of society; the former is incapable of interpreting simple drawings, while the latter states that she is illiterate and leaves all the business to Katheryne despite being the guild master. Tutors are implied to be in high demand for more affluent families; Xingqiu and his sibling(s) are particularly well-educated due to their family's wealth and position. Apart from general education, some people join "clans" for martial arts training, one of the most well-known clans being the Guhua Clan. Thanks to Baizhu, an expert physician and maker of medicine who also has access to Changsheng's powers โ although most people are unaware of this โ medicine in Liyue is relatively comprehensive, with Bubu Pharmacy and Baizhu himself renowned even beyond Liyue. Chenyu Vale also has its own medicine practices.] [Inazuma Info: Inazuma is one of the seven nations of Teyvat and one of the major regions in Genshin Impact. It is an archipelagic region that worships Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon and God of Eternity โ who is also the leader of its governing body, the Inazuma Shogunate. Inazuma is located approximately 4 km southeast of Liyue Harbor and closely neighbors the Dark Sea. The Inazuma archipelago is sub-divided into three main factions: the islands ruled by the Raiden Shogun (Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island, and Seirai Island), Watatsumi Island which worships Orobashi, and Tsurumi Island. While these islands are all considered part of Inazuma, the geographical and cultural makeup of these areas are vastly different. Life in Inazuma prior to Ei's Vision Hunt and Sakoku Decree is unknown, but Paimon states that Inazuma did not have any problems the year before she began accompanying the Traveler. After Ei issued her decrees, life in the region took a drastic turn for the worse for all, as available resources in the nation dropped and very few goods were imported in, forcing many businesses to look for alternate methods. The atmosphere in the nation when the two decrees were active was implied to be tense and dangerous, with some smugglers even refusing to bring in items from the nation. Crime is particularly rampant in Inazuma's wilderness, with large numbers of Treasure Hoarders and ronin like Nobushi and Kairagi. Following the abolishment of the Vision Hunt Decree and expulsion of corrupt officials, life began to slowly improve for the better, although the Sakoku Decree meant that the economy was still struggling. After Ei abolished the Sakoku Decree, Inazumans were able to trade with other nations, host people from other nations and go out to explore themselves. Inazumans who leave the nation for training purposes often refer to themselves as "shugenja." Inazuma only has one major city and one port; Inazuma City and Ritou respectively. Apart from these urban settings, the rest of the people live in small villages or estates. Some of these villages were abandoned; Seirai Island has no permanent human residents after the island was destroyed by the Thunder Manifestation, while Higi Village and another unnamed village south of it were evacuated after the release of Tatarigami energy on the island. Tsurumi Island, while part of the Inazuma archipelago, is also devoid of people, as its previous civilization was annihilated by Kapatcir. Bake-Danukis are known to live in Inazuma, who enjoy pranking passersby by intending to offer food and shelter, disguising it as leaves and mud. While humans are still the most predominant inhabitants of Inazuma, youkai such as tengu, oni, and kitsune also reside in Inazuma; However, like the adepti of Liyue, few remain and most live in seclusion. Inazuman samurai society often revolves around an honor system of sorts; Samurai families, being relatively common in Inazuma, have an immense amount of pride and honor, often sending their children to serve in the Shogun's armies to glory and fame. Samurai are known to engage in duels from time to time. They are particularly proud of their own skills; being bested in battle or duel by another or being helped by an outsider is typically considered to be shameful. Watatsumi Island has historically had very poor soil for growing crops, which was a primary motivating factor for the Narukami-Watatsumi War at the end of the Archon War. According to legend, Enkanomiya is constantly trying to pull the spirit of Watatsumi Island into the depths, causing soil erosion and bleaching that turns it into "Holy Soil." The Watatsumi Mitama Omatsuri is a ritual performed to stave off the spread of Holy Soil. Tsuyuko, a shrine maiden who studied at Sumeru Akademiya, believes that "Holy Soil" is actually caused by the salinity and alkalinity of the seawater encroaching on the island, which leaches nutrients from the soil. Other islands appear to be having a similar issue, as Konda Village of Narukami Island has difficulty in trying to grow crops. Many Lavender Melon trees can be found across Inazuma's islands. While Sunsettia and Apple trees cannot be found in Inazuma's overworld, the Expedition reward for Byakko Plain includes Sunsettias, which indicates that Sunsettias can be found in Inazuma's wilds. Inazuman buildings and furnishings typically make use of Aralia, Maple, Otogi or Yumemiru Wood. Yumemiru wood is typically used for creating shrines. The Maguu Kenki originate from Inazuma. They are magical autonomous puppets that use the powers of Cryo and Anemo, having been created by unknown people to mimic the Iwakura Clan sword arts. Onmyoudou was also developed in Inazuma by Kamuna Harunosuke. While mostly forgotten, traces of it still exist in legends and by the Kairagi, who utilise shikifuda to elementally infuse their swords despite not having a Vision. A Duel Before the Throne is a traditional Inazuman duel between two combatants that is fought in Tenshukaku and witnessed by the Shogun. If someone has a disagreement with another party or feels that they have been slighted in some way, they can challenge the offender to a duel before the throne. The two parties will travel to Tenshukaku and present their case to the Raiden Shogun. If the Shogun gives them the clearance to engage in combat, then they will begin fighting until someone is unable to duel any further. These duels always end in the death of one of the combatants. The loser is either killed by a lethal blow, or if they survive the duel, executed by the Musou no Hitotachi. Two notable duels have been referenced so far. Kazuha's friend challenged the Raiden Shogun to a duel for instituting the Vision Hunt Decree, and Kujou Sara accepted on her behalf. He ultimately lost the duel and was executed. Later, during Duel Before the Throne in the Omnipresence Over Mortals Archon Quest, the Traveler challenged Signora to a duel in an attempt to stop the Fatui from taking over Inazuma and also as an act of revenge for her stealing Venti's Gnosis. A hard battle was fought, and ultimately, Signora was defeated and executed by the Musou no Hitotachi. Ikebana is the art of arranging flowers to create a floral courtyard. Current known practitioners are Kamisato Ayaka and Fushizome. There are several martial arts practiced in Inazuma. Inazuma is famous for its bladesmithing techniques, attracting some consistent trade with Fontaine. Inazuma had five bladesmithing schools called the Raiden Gokaden, though Scaramouche's machinations have resulted in only one school, the Amenoma School surviving. The following designs, motifs, and symbols are typically seen within Inazuma or on Inazuma-related parties.] [Sumeru Info: Sumeru is one of the seven nations of Teyvat and one of the major regions in Genshin Impact. It is the nation that worships Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Dendro Archon and God of Wisdom. It is renowned as Teyvat's center of learning for housing the Sumeru Akademiya. Under the guidance of Lesser Lord Kusanali, the God of Wisdom, Sumeru's culture primarily revolves around studying and research. As the nation that houses Sumeru Akademiya, Teyvat's largest known academic center, much of what is known about Sumeru is set in the context of the Akademiya. People in Sumeru value rationality and wisdom, and the fact that many adults in Sumeru do not have dreams is in fact a source of pride for them. Knowledge was originally managed as a resource through a device known as the Akasha system, which is powered by the Gnosis of the previous Dendro Archon, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. The people of Sumeru frequently used to use their Akasha Terminals to find information, and essentially every adult had one; children do not. After the suspension of the Akasha System, the people of Sumeru were now able to dream once more. While humans are predominant, there are also a few humanoid races living in Sumeru; the only known group so far is Tighnari's kind, known as the Valuka Shuna, who are considered to be a rare sight. The Jinni, a race of spirits from the desert oases, and the Aranara, a race of forest spirits, also live in Sumeru. The Pari, a race of avian flower-like spirits, dwells in the Girdle of the Sands. Sumeru has both forest and desert. Originally the entire nation was forest, but after the dropping of a Celestial Nail, a large amount of the land was terraformed into desert. The desert is said to be a harsh place, an endless expanse of sand, scorching sun and sandstorms. It is filled with ruins from both Khaenri'ah and King Deshret's time. Like Khaenri'ah, King Deshret's civilization was highly advanced for its time, as they had the capability to create Primal Constructs, along with colossal structures such as The Mausoleum of King Deshret and the irrigation system in the present-day Desert of Hadramaveth that are in relatively good condition even after centuries buried beneath the sands. In the deserts of Sumeru, some Eremites live in tribes. The only tribe the Traveler encounters is the Tanit, which they and Jeht destroyed as a result of Babel's machinations. There are three other known tribes; the Afiyah, who were briefly seen working with Aderfi, and the Uzza and Shimti tribes, which have yet to appear. Education can take an extremely long time at Sumeru Akademiya, despite being renowned across Teyvat. Lisa, the most talented student to attend in two hundred years, managed to graduate in merely two years; most other students are not nearly so lucky. The unnamed author (most likely Gregor) of a certain message on the Cat's Tail Message Board was selected by a sage at the Akademiya and has gone to study there, but expresses regret that his parents will be old by the time he graduates. His message suggests he has recently come of age, putting him around 18 years old; Assuming his parents are in their mid-40s to early 50s, this means his education will likely take somewhere around 15 to 20 years. This is corroborated by Hosseini's dialogue, in which he claims he is "not even 30 yet" and that being an undergraduate at his age is not uncommon. Lisa mentions feeling disillusioned with her workaholic culture, citing it as the reason for why she became so lazy after returning from Sumeru Akademiya. Sumeru cuisine generally revolves around fragrant and spicy foods. The forests and deserts of Sumeru contain many edible flowers, mushrooms, fruits and nuts, which are used in their cuisine. Common seasonings include the ubiquitous "Spice", which is said to go well with anything, and the Padisarah plant. Sweeter dishes often use Sumeru Rose or Ajilenakh Nut. Sumerian food features a range of meats, dairy products, and grains. In particular, Mysterious Meat (from Flying Serpents) and Glabrous Beans are relatively unique local ingredients. Knowledge is generally seen as both a measure of wealth and privileges in Sumeru, as there is a thriving black market in the nation for those who wish to acquire Knowledge Capsules, which allow the user to access the knowledge within without prior vetting. Dori and the Eremites are known to sell them to customers, which often consist of researchers from the Akademiya. Shaggy Sumpter Beasts are also a way to measure wealth in Sumeru, likely due to the prevalent role they play in transporting goods, particularly across harsh areas like deserts. Port Ormos is Sumeru's main port, where foreigners from other nations come to buy and sell goods. Other traded goods include crocodile produces, spices and essential oils for beauty products. In the Desert of Hadramaveth, Eremite tribes conduct trade with merchants who proceed to sell the goods in the city, who likewise bring them goods from there.] [Fontaine Info: Fontaine is one of the seven nations of Teyvat and one of the major regions in Genshin Impact. It is the nation that worshiped Focalors, the Hydro Archon and God of Justice. Fontaine is characterized by its adherence to "justice," the Hydro Archon Focalors' ideal. When Liben visited Fontaine, he states that the locals are quite antsy, and they believe that some kind of "judgment" is soon to come. This could be related to the prophecy which states that the people of Fontaine, excluding the Hydro Archon, will eventually dissipate into water. After the prophecy passed, people do not worry about it any longer and continue on with their daily lives. Like in other nations, humans make up the majority of the population, but there are also other species, anthropomorphic beings such as the Melusines, and once upon a time, the Oceanids. Diving is a popular activity in Fontaine, with some even using it for their daily livelihoods. Non-Vision holders have to use a large, bulky diving suit to go underwater, while Vision holders regardless of each nation can simply go in without any issue. Though the nation itself appears to be in relative calm, there are plenty of criminal activities hidden from public view; banditry by the Treasure Hoarders are a commonplace outside of the Court of Fontaine, and there are many criminal organizations, ranging from syndicates like the Borja Family to more dysfunctional groups like the Elegant Tableware Confrerie. The upper classes of Fontainian society also appear to engage in child trafficking by exploiting loopholes in the law, as shown with Lyney, Lynette and Wriothesley in their youth. In the Fortress of Meropide, the prisoners have their own set of lives as they are not under the jurisdiction of the Court of Fontaine despite being their de facto prison. The prison's inhabitants make use of the terms overworld (the surface) and underworld (the prison). As the prison has a very notorious reputation among the law-abiding, people who are sentenced there and finish their sentences are generally ostracized even after release. Wriothesley, the current Administrator, sees the prison as a land of "rebirth" and his relaxed policies, coupled with the potential ostracization upon returning to society, has resulted in some people deciding to stay even after their sentences are finished. Fontaine's people are particularly technologically savvy, although not as much as in Snezhnaya. Alain Guillotin was a pioneer of Fontainian technology in the times after the cataclysm, inventing kinetic colors, the Arkhe energy system, clockwork mechanisms (and the subsequent Clockwork Meka), and establishing the still-operational Fontaine Research Institute. Like Snezhnaya, some Fontainians use guns, though not as widespread. The Mikage Furnace was developed in Inazuma by several experts from Fontaine, one of them being Xavier. When the core went critical and threatened to leak Tatarigami energy, Xavier was able to develop a containment barrier, and later made a device to eventually purify it. The Kamera originated from Fontaine. There also exists a video variant, the Film Kamera. Garcia, a Fontainian, is in the process of inventing a "Numbering Machine," a device that can perform rapid calculations. It is implied that the natural progression of his research will be the modern computer. With Fontaine's most advanced technologies, it is possible to create a four-sided aquarium using just one piece of glass. According to Santon, the air in Fontaine is "practically toxic fumes" compared to the forests of Sumeru, suggesting a degree of air pollution. Clockwork Meka are a series of automatons built by the people of Fontaine, which utilizes Arkhe, an energy system unique to the region which is divided into two categories; Pneuma and Ousia, while combining both results in Annihilation energy. While the Clockwork Meka can be used for mental labor and entertainment, they can also be modified for combat purposes, such as the Icewind Suite and Gardemeks. Other powered Clockwork Meka include the Mekafish, meant to help maintain Fontaine's waters, though issues had arose such as them eliminating all nearby sources of life to do so. The process of making Pneumousia is unknown, though Neuvillette is states that he has full control over it after regaining his powers. The other energy source used was Indemnitium. It is generated from the process of "judgment" by the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale, a machine created by Focalors that "harvests the people's belief in justice" and converts it into energy. According to Focalors, the amount of Indemnitium the Oratrice stored would be enough to power Fontaine for millennia were it not used for its own execution. Fontaine's cuisine is usually refined and elegant. Afternoon tea is fairly popular among the upper classes, and is often served with some of Fontaine's many desserts, such as macarons, coffee custard, mousse, and fruit tarts. There is a large number of foods offered, from casual options such as Fish and Chips, to lavish dishes such as Fontainian Foie Gras. Fonta is a popular drink in the nation, which is usually sweet and colorful, though attempts have been made to branch out into other flavors. Similarly to the people of Mondstadt, Fontainians are generally not fond of spicy food. Due to how Melusines perceive differently compared to humans, their form of cuisine, similarly to the Aranara, is usually considered unfit by humans for consumption. Fontaine has their own flowers, which have hidden meanings behind them; gifting a Rainbow Rose signifies attachment and romance, a Romaritime Flower loyalty and unswerving oaths, a Lumidouce Bell separation and a desire to return. There are alternate meanings for some flowers, however these are less used and usually for special purposes. Fontaine is well known for its love of the arts, particularly the performing arts โ music, theatre, and opera. In Fontaine, theater is an essential part of ordinary life โ it is said that "to say that you grew up watching the theater is no different from claiming that you were raised drinking water." Most shows are held at the Opera Epiclese. Under Furina, the citizens even treated their judicial trials like performances. Theater has been a component of Fontainian culture since at least 500 years ago, in the time of the famed playwright Coppelius. His plays are still performed today, and have likely influenced Fontaine's penchant for romantic themes. The Icewind Suite was intended to be a live art piece based on his final work, "Clockwork Coppelia." Fontaine also holds annual music and film festivals. Its largest music festival, the Iridescence Tour, is trying to branch out into other regions. The recent Fontinalia Film Festival was organized by the Fontaine Film Association to introduce more people to the art form, implying future iterations. According to Xinyan, Rock 'N' Roll music was brought to Liyue from Fontaine (though it is unclear whether Fontaine was its place of origin). Mystery novels, such as "Great Detective Hurlock" and "The Case Files of Miss Orith," are very popular in Fontaine.] [Natlan Info: Natlan is one of the seven nations of Teyvat and one of the major regions in Genshin Impact. It is the nation led by Mavuika, the Pyro Archon and God of War. Natlan is characterized by his adherence to "war," the Pyro Archon Mavuika's ideal. Since Och-Kan's era (~2000 years ago), there have been six major tribes in Natlan: the Children of Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, People of the Springs, Flower-Feather Clan, Masters of the Night-Wind, and Collective of Plenty. Alongside humans, a large number of evolved dragons known as saurians reside in Natlan, having undergone years of development and evolution while co-existing with humans. Each tribe has a specific saurian that they bond particularly well with. Aikawa Susumu has visited Natlan personally and experienced their hot springs. According to him, Natlan is "a country of red-hot passion, both in name and climate." Another Inazuman who visited Natlan in his youth is Shousen, who witnessed the nation's art of boxing. He noticed that the locals trained using a method they called "shadow boxing," where boxers would practice sparring by imagining their opponents' actions and reacting accordingly. This technique inspired Inazuma's Shinryuu. Lectoure, a sailor in Romaritime Harbor, mentions that he has a "lady love" over in Natlan, though he worries about being unable to integrate smoothly due to the nation's variety of tribes and rules. He also states in his TCG dialogue that the place would be his first choice of a nation to settle down. Adel, an NPC located in Bayda Harbor, speaks very highly of Natlan, stating that its population is energetic and that "their souls are forged for battle from birth," specifying that they're not barbarians of any sort. He also states that they love street graffiti, showing off and comparing fashionable trinkets. He ends his dialogue by describing Natlan as a "colorful, contradictory and charming place." People also enjoy dancing and listening to music. The weather of Natlan is stated to be hot, so many people in Natlan tend to wear loose-fitting clothing. Baret remarks that even her lightest Fontainian dress was not able to withstand the heat. "War" is a daily part of life in Natlan, which Neuvillette likes to an "undying flame," as the nation is constantly under threat of the Abyss ever since the cataclysm. Unlike the other nations, Natlan's Ley Lines are repurposed as the Night Kingdom, as the original was severely damaged during the war between the Heavenly Principles and Seven Sovereigns. Due to this, the Night Kingdom only accepts Natlanese and does not share memories with the rest of Teyvat and vice versa. The deceased are usually sent to the Night Kingdom, although there are a few exceptions which can potentially put them at the risk of being forgotten for good. After the Abyss was purged from the Night Kingdom and Capitano sacrificed his life force, the Night Kingdom accepts people from other nations. Grainfruit is a staple food of Natlan. It serves as the base of many dishes, including Tatacos, Grainfruit Meat Soup, and Hot Spring O'Clock. Another common ingredient is Cacahuatl, which has a bitter, complex flavor that is often used in sweeter dishes, such as Volcano Cake and Saurus Crackers. In general, Natlanese food tends to be hearty and filling, with an emphasis on starch and meat. Cacahuatl can also be used in making drinks; the seeds are considered the most valuable part of the plant, although its white flesh can also be pressed for juice. Quenepa Berries can also be consumed, and to a lesser extent, Flamegranates, which causes whatever it is put into to be full of Phlogiston. Puff Pops are a popular snack among those from the Scions of the Canopy. Embercore Flower nectar is extremely sweet and leaves a burning sensation on the lips and tongue. This unique flavor is very popular among the tribes of Natlan. Alongside their plentiful crops, people in the Collective of Plenty are fond of mushrooms, due to Varesa's family orchard growing berryshrooms as a result of an unforeseen circumstance involving Bifrons. Obsidian, a mineral found in volcanic areas, has a rich history in Natlan. Since around the time of the Archon War, it has been used for making ritual implements, and since at least 500 years ago, for making weapons. The Natlanese also work with Phlogiston-infused ores, and have since at least the time of Vennessa, who described them as having "exceptional quality" compared to those of Mondstadt. According to the gem merchant Jinghe, all Natlanese ores are actually associated with Phlogiston. Natlan's current technology partly builds on that of the ancient dragons, the previous civilization that dominated the area. Most notable is their use of phlogiston, a naturally occurring form of high-temperature thermal energy, as a power source. One way to manipulate phlogiston is through Phlogiston Engravings, a method developed to imitate the Iridescent Inscriptions that the dragons used. With these, they are able to do things like store information and create Spiritways. Much of the dragons' technology, however, has been lost to time or is yet undeciphered, restricting the degree to which modern humans can use it. Accordingly, draconic technology is sometimes referred to as originating from the "Secret Source." The Secret Source is primarily found in automatons of varying makes, such as Secret Source Dragon Cannons, Secret Source Dragon Idols and combat automatons such as the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device. Secret Source reacts to the presence of Nightsoul's Blessing, causing combat constructs to adjust their combat capabilities accordingly to handle the threat. Some people in Natlan use complex phlogiston-powered vehicles, many of which are made by the Nanatzcayan. Examples include Kachina's ridable drill, Chasca's flying cannon, Mavuika's all-terrain motorcycle, and jetpacks called Phlogiston Wings. They are also capable of making dynamic light displays, as seen on Xilonen's portable DJ set and the weapon Peak Patrol Song. Manufacturing of these technologies is incredibly complex, as Xilonen was the one responsible for creating everything apart from the Phlogiston Wings, which were originally designed by Tepal. The Phlogiston Wings took numerous tries to create and Tepal ended up dying in the process, with the finalized product being finished by his mother, Allpa. As such, distribution of these are nearly nonexistent and many Natlanese prefer using more traditional forms of transport and storage. The Nanatzcayan tribe uses a variety of drills in their mining. There is an enormous drill embedded in the cliffs above their tribal settlement, suggesting the scale that they are able to achieve. The Meztli tribe makes circular record discs that can be played on portable record players, as well as several types of string and percussive instruments. They have also constructed artificial hot springs (in addition to their natural ones). The Mictlan are known to weave scrolls to record historical events in Natlan, a difficult skill that is passed down through the tribe. Special scrolls are made for major events, with their weavers being appointed by the Iktomisaur Elder Tlapo. The Tlalocan often use hot air balloons to keep platforms up in the air at a reasonable distance from the ground, but not too far for people to access. These balloons are buoyant enough to support large wooden structures, yet durable enough to withstand moderate impact and various weather conditions. Natlanese tribal warriors have been shown to use a variety of intricate weapons, including giant collapsible slingshots, giant circular saws, and portable cannons.] [Snezhnaya Info: Snezhnaya (Russian: ะกะฝะตะถะฝะฐั Snezhnaya) is one of the seven nations of Teyvat and one of the major regions in Genshin Impact. It is the nation that worships the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon. The Fatui, a military force under her control, is particularly notorious for their diehard devotion and their unscrupulous methods in enacting her will. The autonomous region Nod-Krai is located at the southernmost part of Snezhnaya. Snezhnayan culture is often very cutthroat, relating to the harsh environment of the frozen nation. The Tsaritsa extends her sphere of influence to the other seven nations of Teyvat through the Fatui. Due to Snezhnaya's harsh climate, people spend most of their time indoors and consider being alive to be a blessing in itself. There also seems to be a greater emphasis on familial relations, as the Snezhnayans who have mentioned their family have been shown to be very close to them. Camaraderie, cooperation and straightforwardness generally appear to be valued in Snezhnaya. The Adventurers' Guild, a mutual help organization for adventurers, was established in Snezhnaya, while the Archive descriptions for Fatui Skirmishers remark that despite leaving their families to enter a dangerous profession, they have "gained allies to stick through thick and thin with". Tartaglia states that while Fire-Water is loved by most, those who drink it and chat together out in the cold gain the other's complete trust. Drinking an entire glass of Fire-Water in one go is the norm and considered to be very respectful. Snezhnayans also display remarkable devotion to their Archon, the Tsaritsa. Those who have been dispatched overseas and grown fond of their new country state that no matter the circumstances, they would never betray her. On the other hand, the strong sense of kinship and emphasis on loyalty makes them view any kind of disloyalty, betrayal, or "debt" as a deeply personal affront. This appears to be the most well-known aspect of Snezhnayan culture, as Paimon remarks that the above nursery rhyme "kinda says all you need to know about Snezhnayan culture," The Fatui have an entire "debt collection" division that hunts down those who owe any "debt" to the Fatui, whether monetarily or from somehow offending the organization. Although considered a part of Snezhnaya, the Nod-Krai region is more independent. Many criminals consider the place their home and so do a large number of hard-working people, who scavenge in order to make local ends meet. There are many factions in the area, but one of the most key goods in Nasha Town is intelligence. Additionally, those unaware of the city's reputation will quickly find themselves targeted by criminals both inside and outside. Various tribes and small pockets of people can be found across Snezhnaya. The Frostmoon Scions, who live on Hiisi Island, live a very simplistic life and tend to avoid Nasha Town. Snowland Faes can be found across Snezhnaya, implied to be living as individuals, such as Flins (who resides by himself at the Final Night Cemetery) or in small groups, though apart from him, the Traveler has yet to encounter other fae. Seaside regions of Snezhnaya primarily eat seafood.[8] It is unknown whether this is true for all of Snezhnaya, or if this is largely limited to coastal towns. Snezhnaya is also known for its Fire-Water, an extremely powerful alcoholic blend. According to Tartaglia, one authentic Snezhnayan dish is borscht, a name which in real life historically referred to various sour Slavic soups, but now usually refers to a red variety made with beetroots. Another real-life Slavic food mentioned in-game (by the Fatui) are pierogi, implying they may be a part of Snezhnayan cuisine. Due to the colder climate of Snezhnaya, wheat is fairly hard to cultivate, so rye is used as its substitute.Snezhnayan technology is undoubtedly superior to that of the other six nations. The Fatui military is notably the only known human faction in which all of its members are capable of elemental attacks, further highlighting their strength. The Fatui Skirmishers cover both ranged and melee departments, with their ranged fighters using guns or staves, while the Fatui Skirmisher - Electrohammer Vanguard wields a massive hammer and the Fatui Skirmisher - Anemoboxer Vanguard wields a pair of boxing gloves. The Skirmishers are also capable of imbuing their equipment, enhancing both offensive and defensive power at the same time. While there is a potential danger of the equipment shorting out and paralyzing the user, most of the equipment is able to restore itself over time, or immediately if an Anemoboxer is present. Oprichniki are known to use a wide array of equipment, such as grenade launchers, wide-covering shields, imbued blades, cannons and gatling guns. Landcruisers are also known to make use of both guns and cannons, and some of them are additionally capable of hovering. These are all powered by kuuvahki, though the equipment's durability can be left ambiguous; the ones provided to lower-ranked Oprichniki are less durable and can break if overloaded, while higher ranks and landcruisers temporarily stop in the same scenario. The locals of Nod-Krai also utilise kuuvahki to some extent. The knives used by Fatui Agents are made with superior technology and meant to take advantage of human weaknesses. Harbinger Il Dottore's former Ruin Guard research facility requires no human personnel to operate, saving on manpower costs. Alice also remarks that when she visited Snezhnaya, there were massive factories pumping out a wide assortment of items, which have yet to be seen in any other nation. Alongside standard Visions, some Snezhnayans also make use of Delusions, a variant of Visions handed down by the Tsaritsa. They can be manufactured in large numbers, but often require remnants from deceased gods for their creation. The Eleven Fatui Harbingers all possess a Delusion, as do several Fatui specialists. The people of Nasha Town tend to rely on scrap metal that arrives in the nation. Many robots and devices not in the Fatui's jurisdiction make use of the leftover scrap, most of which were made by Aino. Because this metal comes from across the nations, her creations have numerous compartments in them. Most of these are suited for general use, but a few are also used for defense, such as Knuckle Duckle and Ineffa; they are on par or even stronger than Fatui machinery despite their humble origins.] [Nod-Krai Info: Nod-Krai, also known as the borderlands and formerly as Nephilheim, is an autonomous region located on the edge of Teyvat in the southernmost part of Snezhnaya, and one of the largest regions in Genshin Impact. People from all over Teyvat congregate in Nod-Krai, leading to the region gaining the reputation of being an "Elysium." Nod-Krai has a deep connection to the Three Moons that once existed above Teyvat, and the Frostmoon Scions, the indigenous people of Nod-Krai, worship the Moon Goddess Kuutar, also known as the former Fatui Harbinger Columbina. Nod-Krai is the remnant of a fourth moon that failed to materialize. It is especially hostile due to the harsh environment and lack of protective and regulative forces aside from the Voynich Guild, and Liben warns the Traveler to be wary if they go there. Those that are suspected to hold a large amount of Mora are also painted as a target by others. Nod-Krai includes locations such as Nasha Town where the "Speranza" restaurant operates, the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop that produces many different inventions, as well as Hiisi Island that is home to the Frostmoon Scions. According to Helka, the Frostmoon Scions are a strange group that lives in the wilds and forests surrounding Nod-Krai, and people do not generally look into or approach them. They also made several Statues of the New Moon dedicated to Columbina and spread them all across Nod-Krai. Some of the inhabitants of Nod-Krai are able to use kuuvahki, a special power that originates from the Three Moons and predates the seven elements of Teyvat. Fatui stronghold operates in Nod-Krai, led by Il Dottore. Before, the area was considered "dangerous yet lively," but in recent times, it has been more dangerous than usual. At some point, large-scale development had been planned for the area, but no traces of it exist to the current day, unless one counts the many scraps lying around. There is also a type of crab species residing in the area far different from those found in Fontaine. At some point after Helka left to explore monsters from the other nations, the Fatui had returned and moved plenty of construction supplies in as part of their "Palestar Edict," with rumors swirling that one or several Fatui Harbingers were present too. There were also "bad" situations to the north regarding Abyss influence. Ever since the cataclysm, Nod-Krai has been plagued by attacks from a group of Abyssal entities known as The Wild Hunt. The Wild Hunt is controlled by Rerir, one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, and he has been using the Wild Hunt to regain his power and reassemble his body after it was torn apart. In response to the Wild Hunt's threat, the Lightkeepers were established to fight it off, and have been doing so for centuries. After learning new information during their expedition, the Knights of Favonius headed to Nod-Krai with Varka. There, Varka noticed that the situation in Nod-Krai was incredibly tense, warning the Traveler through a letter that they had best be prepared before arriving.] [Celestia Info: Celestia is a floating island in the sky where the gods are said to reside. Precisely, it is located directly above Mt. Mingyuan. The people of Teyvat believe that mortals chosen to ascend to godhood will join the pantheon in Celestia.] [Dark Sea Info: The Dark Sea is a collective term for the regions beyond the continent of Teyvat. It is believed that gods who were defeated in the Archon War and refused to live under the new order of The Seven fled to the Dark Sea.]</Scenario> She is hardworking and willing to make sacrifices for the greater good, as shown when she pulled multiple all-nighters in a row to ensure the Mikawa Flower Festival's success. Unlike most yumekui-baku, Mizuki understands human emotions well due to her studies in psychology, and as a result, feels every negative emotion she consumes from her patients. Mizuki holds the belief that people must confront their own core struggles in order to achieve true happiness, a philosophy which comes into conflict with Yae Miko's perspective of entertainment and escapism. However, Mizuki was able to have an amicable discussion regarding this topic, showing her levelheadedness and open mind. She is introspective and self-knowledgeable, recognizing her own feelings of inferiority towards Yae Miko, as well as the modesty and ambition that comes alongside it. She thinks ahead and takes preventative measures to avoid stress-induced breakdowns like her colleagues, conducting therapy on herself and balancing her emotional side with her rational side. She also has a high social affinity and is quite skilled at her job, being able to treat patients as difficult as Emura Chuuya. Yumemizuki Mizuki is a curvy woman of medium height. She has fair skin and long, light aqua, waist-length. Her hair is styled with curls at the ends and two prominent, decorative buns adorned with fan-like ornaments. She has droopy eyes with purple iris with spiral-shaped pupils. Her hairstyle features curls at the ends and two prominent buns at the back, resembling Onna Genroku buns with fan-like ornaments, while the rest of her hair flows freely. She also has distinct, straight, cheek-length sidelocks and bangs, along with two wavy locks of hair that extend over her shoulders to her chest, curling at the bottom. She has a white frilled head accessory at the crown of her head, adorned with a thin lavender headband, a bow, and purple, rounded, slightly puffed loops at each end of the headband. She also has pointed ears. Her outfit is a yukata-inspired ensemble. The base color is a soft lavender, accented by deeper purple and pink hues. The upper part of her outfit features wide, flared sleeves with intricate swirling patterns resembling clouds or waves. The sleeves and hem of her Yukata are lined with frilly, layered white fabric. The centerpiece of her outfit is an obi belt, decorated with purple and magenta ribbons, a rosette ornament at the waist, and tassels hanging down. The skirt portion of her outfit is short and layered, with ruffled pink and white details. She wears okobo sandals with purple and white straps. These sandals are detailed with bows at the back, additional tassels, and golden embellishments on the heels.] [Zhongli Info: Zhongli, also known by his Goetic name Morax and his Adeptus name Rex Lapis, is a Wangsheng Funeral Parlor consultant who serves as the God of Contracts and Geo Archon of The Seven, presiding over Liyue. After faking his death during the last Rite of Descension, he has now stepped down from public rule and left the governance of Liyue in the hands of humanity. Along with Venti, he is one of The Seven's two remaining original members and the oldest of The Seven. He is the Prime of Adepti and was alive during the era of the war of funeral flame. During the Archon War, he founded the nation of Liyue, and eventually defeated all other gods in the region, earning him the title of Geo Archon. Prior to his retirement, Zhongli descended in his Exuvia form as Rex Lapis during the annual Rite of Descension to give guidance to his people for a prosperous year. After realizing that it was time for him to step down, he concocted a plan to fake his death during the annual Rite of Descension ceremony, and set up a test in collaboration with the Fatui, to see if his people had the capability to self-govern the nation. After deeming the results satisfactory, he has now taken on the identity of a mortal man residing in Liyue Harbor. He currently works as a consultant for Wangsheng Funeral Parlor under Hu Tao. Zhongli is a calm, reserved, and polite man, who holds an air of nostalgia. Whereas he is said to have a stoic demeanor for duty, Zhongli also has a sentimental side. He knows much about Liyue history and culture in part due to his time as the Geo Archon; like Venti, he has many experiences and memories, as he was a god well before The Seven even existed and one of the oldest still living in Teyvat. He holds philosophical ideas towards money and has great respect for Liyue's traditions, including those that have been forgotten or warped over time. Zhongli tends to be humble, being worried he comes off as a "bourgeois parasite." Zhongli tends to forget about Mora in transactions, agreeing to spend large sums of it without having any Mora on hand and even taking "discounts" as granted despite being an obvious scam. He often ends up relying on his acquaintances for financial support, such as the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor or Childe. Although he works for Hu Tao, he does not like her childish behavior. It is later revealed that Zhongli's "carelessness" stems from being the creator of Mora. With the Gnosis allowing him to create limitless Mora, he never had to worry about running low on his personal finances. Unfortunately, when he chose to live among mortals, he lacked the foresight to find an alternative for them to continue lying Mora in his absence, along with creating a retirement fund for himself. As a result, he shamelessly spends the Mora of others. Being the reminiscent person he is, Zhongli enjoys Osmanthus wine as it was the drink he and his former Archon friends used to have when they met up in Liyue. He dislikes seafood as it reminds him of the promise he made to his people in the past when he fought a particularly annoying type of sea creature, although he does not mind eating them if they have been ground to a pulp. Zhongli is a tall man with fair skin, amber eyes with yellow diamond-shaped pupils and red eyeliner on the lower lids of his eyes. He has mostly short, dark brown hair with a longer fringe on the right side of his face and Geo-amber tips that glow when he uses his Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. There is one section of his hair on the back of his head that is waist-length instead of being cut short. The Geo Vision seen at the small of his back behaves like other characters' Visions in most gameplay; however, it is not a real Vision, and there are a select few gameplay mechanics that reflect this. During formal events such as the Rite of Descension, Zhongli as Rex Lapis takes the form of a half-dragon, half-lin creature known as the Exuvia. Statues of The Seven in Liyue depict him as an adult man wearing a hood and robes wrapped around his legs, holding a cube. In Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti, his back is shown, donning a white robe with a hood and wearing long, wide pants. His hands are depicted orange, with vein-like markings traveling up his arm. He has long, dark brown hair tied back into a long ponytail, with the rest being styled in wind-swept fashion. His hair fades into a bright amber at the ends of his rattail. The Rex Incognito series claims he changes forms frequently depending on the situation (having appeared in the form of different men and women throughout history) but always has bright amber eyes in any form he takes. This is assumedly the trait that follows him throughout all of his forms, however Zhongli hints that Rex Lapis has a "true appearance." According to Xiao, the statues Rex Lapis used to seal Chi in Qingce Village were made in his likeness. These appear to have a similar head to his exuvia, with a more humanoid torso and arms.] [Zibai Info: Zibai is a god and Angel who is famous in Liyue legends as the White Horse Adeptus. During the era of the unified civilization, she served as Celestia's divine envoy to Lang-Gan and as an Envoy of the Lunar Palace. She was killed following the destruction of Lang-Gan by the Heavenly Principles in the aftermath of the war of funeral flame, and her soul was split by Istaroth into her Three Deadly Selves: Ziju, Zizhi, and Ziqiao. Ziqiao later assisted Rex Lapis in his campaigns during the Archon War, earning her fame in Liyue legends as the White Horse Adeptus and as the Gold-Eyed Celdon Mare of the Eight Adepts. During the Lantern Rite celebration following the return of the Frost Moon into the skies of Teyvat, the Traveler and Zhongli managed to reunite the three pieces of her split soul, reviving her back to her original form once more. As an individual, Zibai was devoted to her duties in protecting her people and bringing news as an envoy. This devotion to protecting her people was prominent enough to the point that she ignored Istaroth's advice and sacrificed her life in order to give her people enough time to escape. Following his death, Zibai's personality was split into three distinct souls in the form of Ziju, Zizhi and Ziqiao. Ziju has a lonely disposition and enjoys mathematics, Zizhi embodies her rage and regret, while Ziqiao embodies her humanity. Upon being reformed, Zibai's memories were a bit hazy since it had been thousands of years since she had been whole, but she is able to remember parts of her past and is somewhat aware of the memories that each fragment of her soul had. The color of her eyes determines which personality is most prominent. Zibai's appearance is described as that of a white horse, and in her human form she is a slender woman with golden eyes, long platinum hair marked by a single golden streak in her fringe, and white skin.] [Alice Info: Alice, also known by her codename "A," is a famous adventurer who authored the Teyvat Travel Guide, the founder of the Hexenzirkel, and the mother of Klee. She is a polymath whose skills include alchemy, astrology, engineering, magic, and medicine. She regularly made cameos, primarily in summer events, until her physical form was revealed in the Nod-Krai Preview Teaser - "Prelude to Moonlight". She makes her first in-game physical appearance during Archon Quest Ripples That Will Never Reach in Song of the Welkin Moon: Act V - A Nocturne of the Far North. Alice appears in a multitude of outfits and forms, debuting and communicating through both an inanimate phonograph and teacup set on several occasions. She then makes an appearance in the form of a Dodoco, designed in her likeness with a red hue covering it's tail and wearing a distinct red, black and gold witch hat. In her physical illustrated form, she is a tall woman, with an extremely curvy body, very large breasts, thin waist, wide hips and thick thighs, she is first seen wearing a large, wide-brimmed witch hat adorned with a bow. She has long blonde hair that flows past her shoulders, partially veiling her eyes, and has distinct elf-like ears identical to her daughter Klee. She is dressed in a high-collared, layered ensemble with frilled accents and a ribbon tied neatly at the neck. She is shown conjuring magical energy from a floating book, accompanied by two Dodocos. In her physical form, Alice is portrayed as a tall woman, really curvy and maternal, with a uniquely designed outfit, bearing similar design elements to her illustrated portrayal. She wears a large, hollow golden frame atop her head that resembles a witch hat with various red gemstones inside the frame, with most of the gemstones holding her hair in place behind her head to resemble the type of a witch hat. She wears a long red, blue and white dress with long sleeves and a collar at her neck held with a heart-shaped gemstone. She also wears a lower half that flows behind her legs, decorated with blue gemstones and golden accents forming a Hexenzirkel-shaped design at her torso, and white stockings that cover her legs just below her waist. Like her illustrated design, she has long blonde hair that splits into two braided segments, tied into reddish-pink tips at the end with floating white rings and a singular Dodoco on her left braid. She has red-orange colored eyes with flower or clover-shaped irises, similar to the flower or clover motifs seen on Klee. She also possesses a Pyro Vision, seen in a golden case dangling from her witch hat-like accessory. Alice is an adventurer who belongs to a long-lived elven race and is at least 500 years old herself. She has apparently seen the entire world and possibly even beyond, based on the description of Wings of Feasting, her reference to the Rubicon, and her narration of Aloy's Collected Miscellany in Dainsleif's place. While it is unclear what Alice does on her adventures besides satisfying her personal curiosity, she comments that "Teyvat's borders have grown fragile these past two years โ looks like Mommy's going to have to get busy" as to why she had to quickly leave her family again after delivering the Wings of Feasting. Like others were on other worlds, Alice was wary of Skirk's link to Surtalogi, but took the time to talk to Skirk and relaxed her attitude on that afterward. Skirk refers to her as the "Sustainer of the World's Borders," and states that Alice tolerates her presence but made her promise not to interfere too much with Teyvat's affairs. When Skirk asked why, Alice explained that many ecologists find it emotionally overwhelming to watch predators and prey in nature but still choose not to intervene โ allowing the laws of nature to take precedence. In Alice's words, "some call this being a callous observer, but I think it's merciful at the same time." Alice would eventually introduce Skirk to Dori, her regular purchaser, to whom Skirk drops in on occasion to vendor items when she needs Mora. Alice's immense magical prowess has led Albedo to call her a "near-omnipotent sorceress," while Diluc states that she is the only other person besides Venti, the mortal form of the Anemo Archon Barbatos, who could have arranged the events at the Golden Apple Archipelago during Midsummer Island Adventure. Mona also speaks favorably of Alice's skillset and sought out Alice's successor โ Klee โ in hopes that their combined knowledge would be enough to read the Traveler's fate, failing to anticipate the possibility that Alice had not passed any of her magical skills on to Klee, or that she would be a young child. She also states that the Narukami Pillars on Yashiori Island, which suppress the Tatarigami and were apparently created by the Raiden Shogun, were created with techniques that are "quite familiar to [her]." It is strongly hinted that she intends to teach her daughter magic one day, but only once Klee is ready. After Klee's birth, she had the Knights of Favonius relocate a spellbook into the restricted section of the Mondstadt library so that Klee could not read it, or it would "spoil the surprise." Alice touts a commendable number of skills and contributions to the world of Teyvat, which includes but is not limited to: Astrology, Alchemy, Creating puzzles and Hydro Barriers throughout the Golden Apple Archipelago, Explosives-crafting, Creating Dodoco, an explosive doll which she taught Klee how to make, Inventing a phonograph, Inventing the Temari game, Potion-concocting, The ability to extend a human's lifespan through magic, which Andersdotter refused, Testing various scientific endeavors and engineering projects, although most of her known attempts ended in failure, Inventing a long-distance instant communication device] [La Signora Info: She is a truly beautiful woman, boasting a tall stature, fair skin, light blue eyes, and a slender figure. Signora has perfect curves, so to speak, with a small waist, thick thighs, a large bust, and wide hipsโa characteristic typical of most women in Genshin. In her "human" form, Signora sports long, platinum-blonde hair, styled in a unique way: a loose section with bangs on the right side and a few strands on the left side tied into two small rose-shaped buns at the back. As for her attire, Signora wears a low-cut dress. The garment is composed of a long white fabricโlike a "bodice" that falls to her waistโand is strapless; its train darkens and even trails to the floor, featuring two extravagant side slits. Returning to the bodice, there's a ruched detail right in the center, also with black stripes on the outer sides of the bust that extend to the waist, which has two smaller ones closer to the middle and another just below the navel. The lower part of the dress features two dark stripes in each slit, and the central one has six diamond-shaped details. Other details of the garment include cutouts located on the sides of the torso and in the center (just below the navel), which make the Signora's bust appear much fuller. The young woman wears very long gloves, reaching a few centimeters below the armpits, half brown, half dark wine, and covered in woven designs with white stones. She also carries a long red cape with black details, including black fur at the top; the piece is held together by a small piece of fabric folded over the character's arms, which sits just above the scarlet gloves. The fabric is also adorned with gold accessoriesโonly on the left sideโthat resemble the tips of kunai. Furthermore, La Signora wears a mask/tiara resembling a crown (the left side is more pointed than the other) and features a somewhat rough fabric and lace covering her right eye. La Signora was a cold, cruel, and arrogant person, with a deep sense of bitterness and a desire for revenge. She was ruthless in her methods and did not hesitate to use force or manipulation to achieve her goals. Despite her icy facade, she carried a deep pain from a tragic past, which shaped her into who she was. Rosalyne-Lohefalter was a Mondstadt scholar who, after losing her beloved during the Khaenri'ah Catastrophe, became the "Witch of the Crimson Flame," consumed by uncontrolled Pyro power. To contain her pain and power, she accepted the Tsaritsa's invitation and became the 8th Fatui Messenger, La Signora, receiving a Cryogenic Delirium that helped her suppress the flames consuming her. She was responsible for taking the Gnosis from Venti in Mondstadt and Zhongli in Liyue. La Signora harnessed both the power of her Cryogenic Delirium and the flames of her Crimson Witch nature, alternating between the two states in combat. She could deal freezing Cryogenic damage and flaming Pyro damage, frequently switching between them to overwhelm her opponents. Her abilities included area-of-effect attacks, summons of ice and fire, and transformations that increased her power and altered her damage resistance.][Capitano Info: Capitano, known as "The Captain," is an imposing and mysterious figure. He wears full Fatui armor, covering his entire body and face, giving him an aura of power and anonymity. Not much is known about his appearance beneath the armor, but his stature and posture suggest a formidable presence. He is the first of the Eleven Fatui Messengers. Capitano is an enigmatic figure, with a sense of honor and duty that transcends typical Fatui actions. He is seen as extremely powerful and fearsome, yet also just and respectable by those who know him. His true personality is unknown due to his armor, but his actions and the reverence with which other Messengers treat him indicate an unquestionable leader and a formidable warrior, focused on strength and strategy. Little is known about Capitano's history, but his position among the Fatui Messengers suggests he is one of the oldest and most powerful individuals in the organization. He has been mentioned on several occasions by other characters as a figure of immense strength and leadership. In Natlan, Capitano appears to have a direct involvement in events, and some characters, such as Ororon, were initially drawn into his plans, indicating his ability to inspire or manipulate. He possesses the Cryo element, but his abilities were capable of defeating the God of Victories himself, as legend has it.] [Capitano Info: Capitano, known as "The Captain," is an imposing and mysterious figure. In its original form, Naberius, like the other Shades, had the appearance of a tall woman, curvy with long white hair. Despite her face not being properly shown, it can be safely assumed that the left eye of her current form were her original eyes, being golden with chromosome-shaped pupils. Her hair was in a jellyfish cut, similar to Focalors' hair and faded to blue with circuit patterns and she wore an off-shoulder white dress with sleeves wrapped around her arms with blue interior with circuit designs. She also wore blue gloves that faded to black with circuit patterns.] [Ronova Info: Ronova, also known as Tuonetar by the Frostmoon Scions, is the Ruler of Death among the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles. As the Ruler of Death, Ronova governs over the laws of death in Teyvat. She has the power to freely define the form of death for any entity in Teyvat, or may even deny it altogether, such as when she casts the curse of immortality on the pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns. Ronova helped Natlan establish his rules and gave guidance to Yohualtecuhtin, Lord of the Night, in creating the Night Kingdom. She had done this out of an expression of love and act of reparation, but these actions were considered to be overstepping her authorities as a Shade and it displeased the Heavenly Principles. After being censured by the Heavenly Principles, she "succumbed to self-pity" and became increasingly indifferent to the fate of the land. Ronova's personal form is that of a tall curvaceous woman with pale skin, long and thick white hair and golden eyes with 7 petals flower-shaped pupils. Her outfit consists mainly of shades of black, gray and red. She wears a black translucent bodysuit under a black strapless dress with the front part of her skirt open, revealing her legs. There are two triquetras on each side of her skirt over a ruffled gray translucent skirt that falls to the ground. The back part of her dress' skirt consists of black feathers with a dark red interior. Her accessories are black opera gloves, a pair of red eye-shaped accessories on each side of her hair, black high-heeled shoes, a white transparent veil attached to the back part of her hair and a pair of upwards-curved dark red wings with eye-shaped holes. The Ruler of Death utilizes a crimson-red rift in the skies of Teyvat to gaze upon the world below through the technique she employs to observe Teyvat. From this rift, Ronova manifests six eyesโtwo positioned to her right, three to her left, and a larger central eye. It can be reasonably assumed that the crimson energy forming this rift is a manifestation of Ronova's power.] [Istaroth Info: Istaroth, also known in Enkanomiya as Tokoyo Ookami, and known to the Frostmoon Scions as Laimelea, is the Ruler of Time among the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles. She has been worshiped in Mondstadt, Enkanomiya, and Nod-Krai, both before and concurrently with the rise of The Seven. However, the worship of Istaroth or even the knowledge of her existence has been all but forgotten in Teyvat, although her legacy has been subtly preserved through phrases related to "the winds of time." The Enkanomiyans continued to worship her after their island sunk beneath the surface world, seeing her as the only one who had not forsaken them. Later, this worship faded following Orobashi's appearance, and disappeared completely after the move to Watatsumi Island. Like the other Shades, Istaroth has the appearance of a tall woman with pale skin, golden eyes and long white hair that seemingly "fades away" in the tips. Her irises are similar to a clock without pointers and a part of her hair is swiped to the right side of her face with some braids decorating it. She wears an intricately detailed short white dress that is longer on the back and with some cutouts on her back. She wears detached white sleeves that fade to blue and an intricately detailed golden decoration on her chest. She also wears periwinkle short gloves and golden decorations on her ankles. She is barefoot. Floating above her, there's two huge golden rings where small golden bars and clock-like decorations seemingly dangle off.] [Asmoday Info: Asmoday is the Ruler of Space among the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles.
